  • I stayed for 10 days, excellent service I recommend this place because of their dedication even though Photos are a bit deceiving, Very nice hosts they were friendly and helpful. and a good bed for the price. obviously its a hostel not a 5 stars hotel you got what you paid for. Its a good place to known people from all over the world.

  • It's an okay place. The bed wasn't really comfortable, the bathroom wasn't clean. Basically you get what you pay for. It's fine if you want an inexpensive place to stay for a short duration.

  • Feras was pretty quick with phone and texts. He provided me great help about directions. Cozy and chill place.

  • This was my first time staying at a hostel and my experience went really well. I needed a cheap place to stay during Fashion Week and was able to book a room at a reasonable price within 3 days of my arrival. My check in was easy, and although the place did not look like the pictures advertised, I made sure not set my expectations too high. I literally only used the hostel as a place to shower and sleep. The hostel was located about 4 or 5 blocks from the metro and the neighborhood wasn't the best. During the daytime I felt safe but at night I made sure to pay attention to my surroundings (be aware of shadows), and I walked in the middle of the street at night so I would know if someone was approaching me. But those are things I do while I'm walking alone at night, regardless of where I am. The hostel wasn't noisy at all because I stayed in the basement with 3 other girls. We all got along well, and it was great meeting and learning new things about other people from different parts of the world. Russ was very nice and his friends were also very polite and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and I wouldn't mind staying again! Thanks Russ!

  • I only stayed for one night but it was a great experience! It is set up much like a hostel and it allows you to meet a lot of interesting, and good people. If you are looking for a luxury hotel stay this is not the place but if you enjoy meeting new and friendly people then this is the place.

  • This funky house treated me great for my time there. Cool people, relaxed atmosphere, a very communal vibe and not at all sterile like you might find in other "hostels". Some of the beds might need fixing, and they should get some more plates and bowls, but these things will be worked out moving forwards I'm sure. ;) Also it is a bit far from Manhattan/most other places I was going to so that was a bit of a hassle but really not too big a deal. If your looking for a cheap bed with cool international people in NY, look no further!

  • CHEAPEST place you can find in brooklyn and maybe in NY !!!
So it's OK, but pictures are NOT realistic at ALL!!! So if you are looking for a very cheap and warm place to stay located in the real Brooklyn that is the place to be. Don't expect too much in reference of cleanliness and comfort, but the very good behaviour of Russ make this place a real place of life.

  • This place is located in Brooklyn area, three blocks from subway. The room I stayed is clean and comfortable. The host is helpful and friendly.
I woud like to say if you want to visit NYC and want a cheap, clean place to stay you definitely should try this dorm.

Its take 6 stops to lower Manhattan and you can do a lot of shopping there.
