We had a lovely stay at Nina's apartment, which is very spacious and comfortable for 2. We were lucky enough to get weather good enough to be able to use the terrace for breakfast, which was a lovely bonus to an already lovely apartment. Nina was friendly and really helpful, and the ameneties in the apartment are really thoughtful - toiletries, fruit, lots of tea and coffee and even some cake. The area is great too. The market had lovely fresh food, there are plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by, and it is no more than 5 minutes walk to two tram lines that will take you to the main attractions in the city. We look forward to coming back! Thanks Nina
Our stay in Nina's flat in Amsterdam was very comfortable and well situated for transport links to central sites. There are also a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Nina is an excellent host providing very useful tips and recommendations and certainly exceeded our expectations. Overall, our first airbnb experience was a great success.
Staying at Nina's apartament was a great choice. It is exactly what is shown on The pictures and Nina was there to meet us, showed all The house and gave us a lot of tips of places to go and things to do, including 2 tickets for museums, a great surprise. Recomend Nina and her place to anyone going to Amsterdam!

We stayed at Nina's apartment in March of 2014 and was our first airbnb experience (and not our last). Nina was there to greet us in the late morning when we arrived from the States. She was like a welcoming old friend. Very out going and full of helpful information. She made everything very smooth and easy which gave us peace of mind using this sight.
Her apartment was a perfect size and the bed was very comfortable and cozy. We cooked 2 meals in each day with goods that we easily bought at the open air street market on the same street that her home is on. Eggs, chicken, vegetables, fruits and breads were all there. She had a Nesco coffee maker and helpful things in the fridge and cupboard that made cooking there a breeze. Even with the daily market below the place was sound proof and peaceful. We always felt very safe in the neighborhood. At night it is super quit and we rarely even saw folks out and about. There is a coffee shop/ bar just kitty-corner from the apartment that has good coffee. The internet was fast...bonus!
We navigated the city using the public tram system with a tram stop just a block or so away. Which made it easy to be further out staying in this area of town. We took that thing everywhere. You can buy a pass right when you arrive just outside central station so you can jump on and off at will during your stay. There are also lockers in the central station to stash your bags if you need too.
The staircase is VERY steep but is only 1 floor. If you have issues skip this apartment. If you don't think you do not want to use the city tram skip this place. But for us, this was part of the pull for picking Nina's home. To be out and in a average neighborhood with small shops and restaurants, families and the market under our noses.
If you get a chance to go to The Little Nine Streets area my favorite shop was called Nikki Nik on Gasthuismolensteeg #5. Fun and funky feminine clothing and accessories with a shop owner who speaks great English and was nice as she could be. I only wish I would have bought more items as I now know I can not get the same brands here in the U.S. or can not even find them on the internet. What a fun area with cool small boutiques and little eateries.
Our stay at Nina's place was perfect. It was clean, cozy, stylish and only a 3 minute walk to public transportation that will zip you into city center in about 5 minutes. It's situated right above the Cuyp Market but we were able to sleep in without hearing the hustle outside. Nina was super responsive, helpful and gives great recommendations. I would definitely recommend this BnB for anyone staying in Amsterdam.
we had very good time staying in Nina's apartment. Everything is just perfect, good location, well equipped apartment. Nina is very nice and profession. Just one thing , the heater system made noise. We think maybe there is less water in the system. I don't know. But out of that , it's perfect. Thanks Nina again.
The stay at Nina's Apartment was better than we expected. The very central location in the front of the albert cuyp m. was more than useful. Relaxing, drinking a coffee in Nina's living room and watching the people passing the market, after a walk trough the city was a good feeling... Nina was very friendly and gave us good recommondations for Amsterdam! We enyojed our stay very much!
The apartment in Cuyp Market is a nice and typical. Located in Cuyp Market Street. Is not noisy. They start in the morning and close around 5pm. The bedroom is located in the back. very quiet. In terrace you can spend some good times if the weather is good. The apartment is ok for two people. with not a lot of luggages. (or a couple with a little baby) In the apartment you find all you want about the kitchen. (laundry - dishwasher - coffeemaker….) Is very easy to go in center, by tram. or by walk. Nina (Host) is a very kind person. she is very kind. she can gives to you all information about the area. restaurants, shops and museums. She offers us 2 MuseuumKart. we visited a lot of museum for free. We was lucky… I have to come back in Amsterdam!!!! and obviously… i'll contact Nina!!! Vote: + 10 ! ! !
