The Space

Cath and Patrick invite you to stay in their home in a quiet street close to the centre of the city. We live in an elegant Edwardian three storey house in the heart of Bristol. Its position is fantastically convenient for the centre which is a 10 minute walk away. You will stay in our master room ( cosy single room on other site) both of which have just been newly refurbished .

Bristol Temple Meads Station is about 15-20 mins to walk and we are 30 mins by car from Bristol Airport. (Cars can be parked here outside for free and buses go very regularly from outside the train station). Theatres, Arts Cinema and the Colston hall are all within a short walk away as is the SS Great Britain, the M-Shed Museum and The City Hall. The BBC is 15 mins by bike or a bus ride away. Bath is 10mins away by train caught from Bristol Temple Meads. Many excellent Cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We are also conveniently positioned for the Universities and Hospitals. Our position in Bristol offers the chance for guests to get a real taste of what Bristol has to offer, and we prefer people visiting on a short stay basis.

Our accommodation for visitors includes:
•One king-size bedroom with a very comfortable pocket sprung mattress and
•One single room with a new John Lewis sprung mattress.
•The bathroom (shared) and separate toilets(one down stairs) are opposite the rooms on the same landing.
•Downstairs we have a cosy sitting/TV room with open fire, and a lovely bay window.
•A dining room, which has a piano and French doors overlooking the walled garden.
•Use of the farmhouse style kitchen for cups of tea and coffee and your own snacks.
•We also have a garage which is very convenient for storing bicycles.
•Washing machine use for small extra charge.(please note that we dont have a tumble dryer so only guests that are staying 2 nights or more can use the washing machine)

(We also have a converted attic on the next floor which is our family space).

Bed and Breakfast, would include a very comfortable warm bed, and a light Breakfast of toast and cereal in our delightful dining /breakfast Kitchen overlooking the garden!

We hope you will come and visit us and discover our very exciting city that we have grown to love.

We are now in one of Bristol's Residents Parking Schemes. This means that if you want to park a car in the street outside our house on a week day between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm you will need a visitor's permit which costs £1 per day.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to most of the house and the garden if they so wish. We do ask that guests check out of there rooms and the house by 11 am on the day of departure, we are happy for luggage to be left until later, by arrangement.

Other Things to Note

Please note that as we do not have a tumble-dryer it is not possible to do large amounts of laundry.(there is a very good laundrette close by)
