Great check-in experience100% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

Away from everything, but close to everything. This is what I love about this property. Tranquility of being in the hills of the West Coast of Puerto Rico in the coastal town of Cabo Rojo and close to 7 incredible beaches (officially there are 13 beaches). Seafood everywhere. Tranquil, almost spiritual surrounded by nature. We are 5 minutes away from Schoenstatt Sanctuary. This "off the beaten path" location that's near everything is exactly what the doctor ordered. We Love this place

If you're visiting PR, you need to visit the West Coast. Cabo Rojo is a great place. Quaint and lots of good food to eat. 30 minutes away from Parguera and La Playuela.

Thanks for the comments. We will discuss this with the cleaning person. It is so difficult to supervise and keep the rooms as clean and sparkling as we demand without being there. That is why we have kept our rates low because we are not present to make sure that the rooms are to our standards like our other property in New York where we live. However, honest comments like yours help us. Thank you. We will welcome you back anytime and hopefully you will see a difference.

Julios nest is nestled in a tropical residential area, where a sheep farm is around the corner. Shower with low pressure, but warm. But it is new and clean as a whistle with no thrills.close to beaches, beautiful Cobo Rojo, restaurants, and highways. Julio was very friendly and h…

The neighborhood was as described- a little secluded but easy driving distance to the downtown and other areas. The house was clean and fit three of us. We were able to drive to restaurants and other beaches during the day. The neighborhood felt very safe and you could hear the b…

Julio is a very attentive host. The property, room and bathroom were very clean! The room is located in the basement of their main house. As the description says, there is a bunk bed which has a full and a twin sized bed. As Julio has stated in other reviews, this room is best s…

Thanks Diana for your feedback. We value it as it helps us continue to give the best possible service for the rate that we are charging. However we would like to clarify that past guest have brought their own food as we also provide a small refrigerator along with the microwave. Regarding the humidity and heat, Question: Did u turn on the dehumidifier? Did u leave the outside aluminum doors open? Some past guest have told us that it has helped to cool the room a bit by removing much of the humidity and the doors open helps. Notwithstanding , we are looking into alternatives & air conditioning is not totally out of the question. For now our concern is that with Puerto Rico's ridiculous electric rates (higher than any state in the US) the power authority will raise the electric bills through the roof, forcing us to raise our rates which is something that we do not want to do as our place is for regular folks, working people and youths who are on a tight budget. We don't have air conditioning in our own home, or in our car as well. we try & walk, and bike rather than use the car if the location is less than a mile because we are serious about leaving this earth a little safer for the next generation. Unfortunately, we can't do much about planes and Flights & what other people do, but we believe that our small contribution does make a difference to us. We advise guest and family when speaking to them that staying with us in the Cabo Rojo house is like sleeping out, like camping, except that we do have fans and a room dehumidifier. We also found that in the winter months the room is cooler. We are also looking into solar panels to drive inverters and if that works we might not have to raise the rates too much. But again, thank you for your feedback as it is the only way we can sustain our goal of providing a clean, safe and pleasant place to stay that anyone can afford.
