I live with my husband and 24 year old son. We have a spacious house with 4 bedrooms. We are offering our spare bedroom which has 3/4 size bed than can be folded into a sofa for extra space. The room is bright and clean with lots of drawer space and a big desk. The house has free WiFi. Guests should expect their own private room and a welcoming family atmosphere. The neighbour hood is very safe and close to the city centre with good transport links, with buses and trains very close by. There are shops, restaurants and bars all in close proximity and the University of Manchester itself is very close. We are easy to reach from most of Manchester including the airport. We ensure that your stay will be comfortable and relaxing and welcome your arrival.
As this is a family home we do ask that only members with photos and a brief description about themselves contact us.
They are so kindly and the bed room is so comfy. It's my first time to use airbnb but no problem at all. When I visit Manchester again, I'll go their house again.
I spent 5 nights with the Dehghans family and could not have felt more welcome. I just moved to Manchester and staying the first days with the Dehghans made it very easy for me to feel like home here already. I was not only picked up from the train station when I arrived, but also got lovely breakfast, tea and dinner! I really hadnt expected this much help and support and I am very thankful for having met them! So as you might have probably guessed by now, I can only recommend staying at the Dehghans!
Comfortable room with helpful hosts. Was just a short stay but I had everything I needed and I was grateful for the lift to the station in the morning.
A Home many friendly and many support .... i am very happy! THX!
The Dehghan's were wonderful hosts. I had a lovely time. Thank you!
I only stayed for one night (as planned). I was working late until 2230 and had an early meeting planned for 0630. Whilst I didn't get chance to spend time with them and talk to them, I was very appreciative of their hospitality. The bad was comfy and had everything I need (tv, wifi). The room was clean, quiet and had all the facilities I need. Thanks very much.
I had a lovely time with the Dehghans. After a long day listening to one speaker after another I was really looking forward to returning to their relaxed and comfortable home.
Would I stay there again ? Yes, I definitely (website hidden) was so much better than spending the evening in an anonymous or sterile hotel bar or watching TV in my hotel room alone.Go on give it a try !
I stayed with the family Dehghan in their lovely home in a quiet residential area not far from the city centre for a week and I was received with a very warm welcome! The room was sunny, clean and equipped with all the comforts that are necessary for a traveller like good wifi, socket adaptor, TV and more. The Dehghan's are a very friendly, open-minded and easy-going family who invited me to get to know each other and spend some time together over breakfast and dinner, but they never made me feel obliged to do so. I wish them all the best and hope that we stay in touch!
Had a pleasant stay with the Dehghan's. The room is comfortable and I had access to a TV and internet. Mr Dehghan was also kind enough to drop me at the train station for my onward journey. Very easy to get along with, I would stay again.
I stayed at the Dehghan’s house for 4 nights during my stay in Manchester. It was my first experience to go abroad, my first experience to UK, and also my first bnb experience. I don’t know much about the common courtesy in UK, so I was very worried that I would say, do, or respond in a way that will offend others due to different culture, so I spend much of the time in my room or going outside alone. But Soraya was very kind and thoughtful. Not only she picked me up from the train station, she also invited me to dinner (delicious food), made me coffee every morning, and took me to the supermarket with her. She and Shain even invited me to join them to the second-hand market on Sunday, and they told me the basic things about UK and Manchester that I find useful.
When I decided to stay all day in the house to write my paper, Soraya tried to drag me out of the room and told me to enjoy the sun at the backyard, because she think I stayed too long in that room like a prisoner, haha. As a loner, I actually like staying in that room. It was clean, neat, comfortable, smells homey, and the view outside was nice. I can also watch the sunrise every morning from the window.
The Dehghans are great host. Soraya didn’t mind when I following her around the house and asking stupid questions. I like listening to her stories. Shain was a laid back and funny man. I had a feeling that he wanted to talk to me more and to get to know me better, which was nice, but I was nervous because my English is not so good and in my perspective he speaks very fast, haha, although I actually like to listen to his comments about things. Ben was friendly too. We didn’t see each other much, but we had a nice conversation before I leave the house and he helped me to carry my luggage.
All and all, it was a pleasant stay with such a hospitable family. I definitely recommend their place.
