  • This is a wonderful place to stay - delightful sitting area, VERY comfortable bed, shower furnished with soap & shampoo for you, and a great counter set up with microwave, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, and plates & cutlery for eating. Just enough space to spread out - we even enjoyed afternoon sun on the patio. Also enjoyed the chance to walk along streets of the historic West End of Lancaster, through blocks and blocks of quaint old town homes. It's a lovely small city, if you haven't yet been. Cheryl has thought of everything; makes herself available as needed AND bakes a tasty bread as a welcoming treat. Highly recommended and our best AirBnB ever!

  • Great use of a small space. Luxury linens in bedroom and bath. Pottery Barn feel. Loved the shower, the blender and HBO. Very private. Cheryl contacted me earlier in the week regarding Restaurant Week which I took advantage of. Thank you, Cheryl.

  • The location and the accommodations were perfect! Cheryl was very gracious and helpful. She is really thoughtful about creating a comfortable, inviting space to relax. I truly enjoyed my stay - both in the city of Lancaster and at Cheryl's lovely suite.

  • Cheryl's place was easy to find with her detailed directions. She was waiting for us with a delicious banana walnut bread, along with cream cheese, half-and-half and a generous supply of K-Cups coffees and teas. The apartment was cozy and quiet; we had privacy but Cheryl was always available for helpful hints. Walking distance to Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant (must try the Winterfest Ale) and Franklin and Marshall College. Lancaster had a variety of shops and restaurants (try Annie Bailey's Irish Pub...great Shepherd's Pie made with beef and lamb). Would definitely return in the fall to enjoy the apartment's patio. Cheryl was the perfect hostess!

  • Very comfy stay at Cheryl's Cozy Suite! Loved the flexibility of having our own entrance, the versatility of the space (my wife was able to catch up on some work thanks to the nice work desk), all of the amenities like coffee and our own fridge, and of course that delicious homemade pumpkin bread. Thanks Cheryl! We'll definitely stay here again.

Cheryl's home is very cozy with all the amenities of home- Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, small refrigerator, plush towels, every tv channel imaginable and most importantly a very comfy bed!! The location is perfect and Cheryl is very knowledgeable about all that there is to do in Lancaster and she has awesome restaurant recommendations!!! I have to return for work next month and I'm already looking forward to my stay!

  • We stayed for two nights and it was a perfect stay. Cheryl was a wonderful host, (she met us at check in to give us a quick tour of the apt) and was available for questions if we needed. Other than that, the place is private, with it's own entrance, so you really feel like you are staying in your own apartment. We even sat out on our private patio for a few hours and enjoyed the weather. The apartment is very comfortable and charming. Cheryl's recommendations were very helpful. (As well as the coffee maker :) We would def stay back here again if we find ourselves in Lancaster again!

  • Cheryl's suite is indeed cozy and private. It is a well designed basement space with everything that you need. The location is great (we almost never had to use our car as we were visiting our daughter at F&M and everything was in walking distance--even her dorm!). The outdoor patio is lovely for relaxing. Cheryl had great recommendations for activities and restaurants. She was gracious and accommodating. She even let us pick mountains of basil to give to our daughter for pesto. Great place to stay!

About
Welcome to the Airbnb family. In the short time since I have listed on Airbnb, I have hosted people from all over the US and the world. It has been a tremendously positive experience. I have been an Airbnb guest when I travel, and I know what I want in a home away from home. I'm always adding to and improving the amenities in the guest suite, in an effort to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. My guest suite is accessed through its own entrance, and it allows guests to have as much or as little contact with me as they wish. I am always available to give recommendations for places to go and great restaurants, or just to help figure out how to get from here to there. My experience as a host has been completely positive. Airbnb guests are a friendly, kind and considerate bunch and I've really enjoyed meeting all of them. Lancaster is a gem of a little city with art, music, great food and beautiful architecture all within walking distance of my house. I hope to infect you with my enthusiasm for my adopted city when you visit. You'll be very pleasantly surprised at how much more there is to this place than you ever knew.
