Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Great location! My daughter and I stayed there for 4 days and had a wonderful time. We were able to walk to all of our shows and some really tasty restaurants (Don Antonio, Bann, and Natsumi). We had a quick walk to a subway on 50th to get to other places. The local amish market is within a block and had some very good quality food. The host is very nice and helpful. We plan to use this rental again. Having a separate room from the bedroom was great as I could drink my coffee and attend to emails while my daughter slept in....

  • J. C. was very polite, helpful, and accommodating—he allowed us to check out later on the Sunday and was very kind about arranging the time to suit us. The apartment is extremely well-located, clean, safe, and comfortable.

  • We had a great stay at JC's apartment. Fantastic location. A short walk to Times Square, subway and theatre district. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Apartment is exactly how pictures looked and apartment was very clean. Unfortunately didn't get to meet JC but communication was very easy. Thanks for the stay!

  • Really nice, elegant and clean apartment. You have everything what you need started from towels, dishes and end by coffemashine, microwave.....and so on. J.C is very nice and uncomplicated and you are always informed (email, message) about the procedure. The location is close to times square, port authority and you are in the area of hells kitchen! I really highly recommend JC Apartment:)

  • J.C apartment has the best location you could ask (website hidden) was our first time in N.Y and we are definitely not the best with orientation but it was so easy to get to all the places we wanted to see. You ll have to try the food at the Amish market before you stop for a drink a the Gossip bar. The apartment itself is very nice with everything That you need. There is no hesitation for me to say that we will book it again for our next visit.

  • The apartment was perfect. Stylishly decorated, plenty of closet space (a real bonus for NYC), free WiFi, and well-equipped. It was smack in the heart of all those Midtown West restaurants near the old Hell's Kitchen edge of the Theater District, yet--crucially--was a back apartment, and all windows opened onto interior air shafts, so there was ZERO NOISE from the busy streets. That, to those unused to sleeping in a city, would be worth twice the price. My host couldn't meet me when I arrived (in the middle of a weekday, so totally understandable), but instead had a friend waiting at the door to escort me up and hand over the keys. Oh, and it was so perfect a location, I never even used the subway. I could walk, within 15-20 minutes, from Penn Station, the convention center, my appointment on the East Side, and really just about anywhere in Greater Midtown. I do believe I have found my new home for those Javits Center weekends.

  • This apartment is in such a brilliant location - especially if you love theatre and midtown NYC. JC was the perfect host, he had lots of good info about where to go and even waited up late for the delivery of my lost luggage that missed the flight I was on. I will definitely be back here.

  • The mid-town west location of J.C.'s apartment was ideal for our trip; It's an easy walk to great shopping, theatres, restaurants, etc. The apartment was secure, fairly quiet & well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. J.C. is a great host; responsive to our texts, on time to meet us with keys and very congenial. We highly recommend staying with J.C. Gil when next in NYC.

  • It is a lovely apartment and we really enjoy it. The apartment is close to subway and lots of restaurants and bar around . J.C is a really nice host. He was waiting for us even though we arrive at NYC late. We highly recommend this apartment and Thanks for J.C.

  • JC was an amazing host. My girlfriend and I got in later in the evening on our check in day and he was still there to meet us with the key and do a walk through of the flat. He suggested a great Italian food place just up the street and even let us check out late on our departure day.
The flat itself was clean and really close to everything we wanted to do. I had a great experience there and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay near times square!
