Treat our home as you would treat your own. We love hosting on Airbnb, and we love staying in other Airbnb homes when we travel.
This was our first Airbnb stay, so we didn't really know what to expect. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Eric's and Aoife's place is beautiful, it is exactly as listed, and in a great neighborhood very close to Prospect Park. Three days in the house and my wife and I felt as if we were native Brooklyners. The place has a back yard for grilling out (which we did!), and all the amenities you could hope for. Several times we remarked how happy we were that we had not stayed in a hotel that weekend. Even better, Aoife and Eric were very enjoyable and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend their place to anyone needing to spend a few days in a very cool part of Brooklyn.

We stayed in the apartment for an extended weekend and we could not have been happier. The apartment is such a gem - it is gorgeously decorated and the backyard is obviously a huge bonus during the warmer months. We also thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood, which felt like an oasis in bustling NYC. We did not meet Aoife and Eric in person, but they were very quick to respond to our emails and answer any questions we had.
host was awesome and extremely nice- the place is spacious and very conveniently located near subway. this was for my parents and they loved it and are looking forward to returning the next time they visit.
This Brooklyn treasure was a fantastic place to stay to really feel like a "local". Great neighborhood, easy transportation close by. Eric and Aoife have impeccable taste, reflected in all aspects of the loft.
Arrival and communication with the hosts was very easy and enjoyable. These wonderful hosts even left a bottle of wine and a welcome note on the table. True hospitality. Thank you for a great stay!
E & A were the perfect hosts. A beautiful home with a small but excellent selection of restaurants, a great bar and right across the street from the F/G trains. Perfect if you don't want to be in the thick, but want easy access to both hip Brooklyn and Manhattan. The kitchen was well stocked and a gourmet's delight. Very happy making eggs on the Wolf stove. Too cold for me to enjoy the backyard but a definite plus. Be as thoughtful as the hosts so they continue to share their home and enjoy it! I'll be back.
About the Host, Eric And Aoife
Traveling musicians. We spend most of the year touring around the world. Recent trips have brought us to Korea, Japan, Sweden, Texas, New Jersey, you name it.
We've lived in this Brooklyn apartment for about 4 years now. Eric supervised the design of our floor, knocking down walls, exposing the brick, etc, and we love it. When we are both home (rare, given our crazy schedules), we love to cook, run and bike in Prospect Park, and just hang in the apartment drinking wine or coffee, depending on the time of day.
When we travel, we love to stay at Airbnbs, as we think they offer a WAY better city experience than hotels. Here's a link to Aoife's page, with a bunch of reviews of us as guests. (We still haven't figured out how to merge the two accounts)
