Location, location, location! Hannah's place is described as centrally located in Bend, but we were still surprised by how easily we were able to walk to great shopping and restaurants downtown (no more than a 10 minute walk) and in the Old Mill District (probably 15-20 minutes). Check-in was very easy and the living space was very clean. We'll definitely look to stay here again the next time we're in Bend.

Hannah's cottage was adorable and located extremely close to Downtown!! Boneyard Brewing is right next door which was an added bonus! The kitchen and bathroom have both been remodeled and are very accommodating. Our only complaint was the dog odor and dog hair so be aware if you are allergic. You could tell it had been cleaned but the vacuum just couldn't get all the hair. As noted by other guests the internet is very weak and intermittent and just our luck the cable box died on our 2nd night. The internet and cable weren't a huge issue for us as we were out and about a lot and then used our cell's for checking email, etc. But, take note if you are expecting to stream movies or conduct business over the internet. Overall the cottage is beautiful and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay here again!!

Response from Hannah:
Hi Pauly & Myra! Thank you again for staying with us. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated coming from a fellow host. We now have a no pet policy so the odor and hair will no longer be an issue. I have also placed a separate modem/ router in the cottage so the internet signal is very strong now with ethernet capabilities. I look forward to hearing from you both when you head back to Bend!

Great place in a great location! Place was spotless and a perfect central spot between the Old Mill district and downtown. Would highly recommend!

While the cottage is a great place in a great location, the host double booked the property and put me into a much smaller chain hotel in a less desirable location without any compensation for the major inconveniences that this caused. I paid for a night in a single house with a kitchen and living room and was instead placed into a small hotel room. I felt like I was given the bait and switch. I also gave the host the opportunity to compensate me prior to writing this review, as I know mistakes happen. She refused.

I've been a world traveler since my Peace Corps parents got me a passport when I was two years old, and I've been seeking out new adventures ever since. From Ecuador to Geneva and Nepal to Borneo, I'm always game to see a new place, and love being able to share my own home to other travelers passing through. These days I travel with my daughter with whom I am eager to share my love of new cultures and foreign places.
Hope to see you soon!
