Studio for 1 or 2 persons in main town of Mexico City, easy to get in and out (access to different transportations). No share bathroom. All you need to live is really near, silent by nights and alive in the day. A very safe place to live.

The kitchen has 2 burners, microwave, refrigerator and different kitchen utensils. There is a table to eat and another table to work. It includes internet and hot water all day.
The apartment is in a second floor at the end of the corridor, it is of easy access and generally quiet. You can enjoy Mexican music on Saturdays, because on the park at the other side of the avenue, people teach danzon and salsa dancing classes. The building has 150 apartments and the common areas are kept clean.
In the area you can find food all day, specialized markets, common supermarkets and some low prices stores. There are two very famous cafés: Cordobés and La Habana. You can walk by night the Alameda or go walking to different attractions and universities: Zócalo, Palacio de Gobierno, Claustro de Sor Juana, among a hundred more. The place is surrounded by more than 100 museums, craft stores and mexican design stores, and 2 of the biggest librarys.
It is very well connected, by subway (metro), waybus (metrobus) or rutes of collective transport (peseros, microbuses). We are in the midle of two subway stations, of two waybus station and all have connection to the airport and othe bus stations. We are inform of a bicycle station to move in the main town area (which you can walk too). It is easy to always catch a taxi in the zone.
Being in the main town and so well connected gives you facilities to move to any point of this beg city: to the south (UNAM) or the north (Queretaro, Pachuca) or the east (Condesa, Roma, Zona Rosa, Chapultepec).
The silence that surround the apartment aloud you to rest and enjoy your live in this noisy city. Having al the place for you gives you security to left your things and to cook and buy your own stuff. For students it has enough place to study or gather your new friends for studding and working. For couples that comes for work and exchange it is a place to receive your new coworkers or friends and cook for them a little of your own country. Also, we have some couples which one of them work and the other study or not that love the place because there was always something to do, read or study nearby to spend the days knowing this country.
All. No limited areas, no share areas.

All the time they need me.
It is really near Zócalo, and have the facilities to move to any part of the city. Its a point where you can find all kind of Mexican traditions, or view the more daily Mexico, but at the same time there is a meeting point with foreign cultures.
There are two subway stations, also more than 4 metrobus station. Both public transportation are easily reachable from the airport, also, ypo can go out the city easily since all the bus station connect to the city by subway.
Other Things to Note
we are infront of one of the biggest library of the city (Biblioteca Mexico), and near the biggest one (Mega Biblioteca).
Don't brake anything. Don't take anything (unless you need it). Most of the persons that have spend time in my studio had left things (towels, shampoo, books, etc.) I expect you to use it and then left something for the next person. Please, if you don't need it, don't take it with you.
I am a animal lover and understand your need to travel with them, but please, if your pet brakes or damage the place, at least clean it and fix it for others to enjoy the same place as the one I am lending to you.
I am a no smoker and many others as well, if you are a smoker, try not to burn sheets, towels or table clothes. Also, open the windows and refresh the place as much as you can (it is not healthy even for you).
Shara gave me a warm welcome, but the apartment has some flaws:
The internet does not work as it should. The connection was bad. A part of the problem was related to my laptop, but also my friend with his iPad or me with my Smartphone had problems to get connected. When I contacted Shara, she answered me that I had only asked her previously if there is internet (but not if it works.). My comment: When I rent a car, I do not have to ask previously if the motor works.
In the sleeping room there is a very dirty carpet which provoked an allergy in my respiratory tract. A little cold at my arrival ended up with an infection. I discovered the allergy after having stayed a few days with my friend where the symptoms disappeared completely.
To mention that there is no vacuum cleaner in the apartment.
Shara is a lovely host, very helpful and accommodating.
The space is centrally located, one block away from various types of public transportation, parks, museums, coffee shops, a couple bars and markets.
If you are looking for a private sunny place to stay while being in the heart of Mexico City, this is the perfect place for you!
This is my first experience renting an apartment, usually I stay at a hotel/apartment with full housekeeping services. But if I can keep my own home clean, I surely can keep a private apartment clean.
Nice apartment building. Public spaces are cleaned every day. Don't expect a lot of creature comforts; a couple tables and folding chairs is about all. Functional, yes. Comfortable, no. The bed was comfortable enough for me, the pillows terrible.
I have been to DF many times & this is very close to Metro & Metrobus, & about 10-15 minute walk to Bellas Artes, very convenient for me. The neighbourhood, however, is NOT very nice. Chock-a-block full of electrical and plumbing businesses, these shut down in the evening & then it's deserted. A bit uncomfortable to walk thru at night. Not a lot of nifty fondas to eat at. Sorry, just no atmosphere at all. much prefer Tabacalera or San Rafael.
The trump card: great price! The host(s) are very pleasant & tried hard to help when needed. Across the street, La Ciudadela can be pleasant with the park and Mercado Artensanias.
Estudio y trabajo.
