Marianne is a very welcoming host with a lovely home close to the train station in SLO. I loved the location - close enough to walk to downtown but far enough away from the noise. The home is a beautiful craftsman with lots of light and plenty of privacy for guests. I look forward to visiting again.

My fiancé spent the weekend in SLO for our anniversary. Marianne's house was very comfortable, clean and perfect walking distance to downtown. We took an Uber downtown the first night but then soon realized we rather walk because the neighborhood is so quaint and safe. The house is beautiful and they have a comfy couch on the front porch that we sat on at night and listened to the crickets. We would definitely stay here again!

Marianne and her family are delightful. Jim regaled us with the history of SLO, and he was quite knowledgeable about the local restaurants. Alicia was also helpful in determining good sites to see and places to eat. Our hosts were also kind enough to let us store our bags at the house after checkout, so we didn't have to haul them around on our last day in town. Speaking of town, we went for Marianne's place because it was close to downtown SLO. We didn't rent a car, and walking was a breeze. The house is lovely. Must love dogs.

I could stay a couple of days in San Luis, much than this i had the chance to meet two wonderfull people : Marianne and Jim. We could share great conversations and some activities, how thankfull I am. The place as well is very calm and quiet, if you need to slow down and tank some energy. I loved it!

Marianne and her family really made us feel welcome in their home. They have a beautiful house. The bedroom and bathroom are very comfortable and clean. They have a lovely garden where we had a breakfast in the sun... What a treat! San Luis Obispo is a cute town, with lots of great places to eat and wine tasting. Thank you for letting stay in your home and for all the good recommendations.

My stay at Marianne's was absolutely lovely. The pretty room is accurately reflected in the picture on the site, and the bed was comfortable with nice linens. The bathroom is sparkly clean, and connected directly to the bedroom so you don't have to leave the bedroom to use it. The house is charming, and in an excellent location about 0.5 mile from all the restaurants, coffee houses and shops. I stayed Friday evening through Sunday morning, and it was the perfect place from which to launch and return each day tired and ready for a quiet and good night's sleep. I highly recommend Marianne's place.

Great place and location! Walkable to eveything in slo. Yet quiet and safe neighborhood. The family is super friendly and welcoming. I so enjoyed getting to know them and they have great information about the town and willingly share. Felt like I had as much privacy and interaction as I needed. Great vibe. I see why other guests make this their go to place in slo. The room is very nice and I slept like a log every night. There is a lovely backyard that is really nice to sit and relax. All in all a good experience. Highly recommended.
