Perfect place to stay - very nice apartment, very friendly host and really cool neighbourhood to stay in. I can only recommend anyone staying in SF to spend some days at Lilys place
Whenever my company has visitors to San Francisco, Lily's property is my first choice. The apartment is spacious, clean and has first class linens and towels. It's in a fun neighborhood and it's extra convenient to public transit while the apartment itself is very quiet with no noise from traffic. Lily herself is an exceptional host. Communication is easy and Lily is amazingly welcoming.
Lily's place made a lovely home for the week my colleagues and I were there. Way more quiet than I thought would be possible for this part of the Mission. The kitchen is well-equipped so we were able to cook for breakfast other meals. When you're not in the mood to cook, I highly recommend the pupusas available 2 for $5 around the corner!
This place is perfect to explore San Francisco. The subway is literally around the corner and at the same time the apartment is super quite since it is on a dead end street. On top, the direct neighbourhood, the Mission, has great places to go out.
Last but not least: Lily has been a great host.
Lily's place is great. The apartment was immaculately clean when we arrived and had everything needed to get comfortable, including great towels and bed linens. It is really a first class place to stay. It is conveniently located to BART and buses but on a very quiet street. There are lots of restaurants and shopping near by and Lily was a very accommodating host. I highly recommend her place.
What an amazing place! My family and I had a great stay at Lily's gorgeous house. Lily lives downstairs and was ready for our arrival so we had a very smooth check in. The size of the house is great, and as a family of three adults we all loved having our own bedroom! Location is fantastic - BART station on the next corner which is very quick to get up further into the city, and we found it so convenient that we even used it to get to the airport! 20 minute trip and the station was right in the international terminal. So easy! Great kitchen which we used quite a lot. Lots of fabulous restaurants in the area, and great mexican food. Definitely won't travel to the states again without a stop at Lily's. You will love your stay. It really feels like a home away from home.
We loved everything about Lily's home, including Lily herself. We went to SF for a Christmas family reunion and upon our arrival there was a blackout on the street. Lily was so apologetic (it wasn't her fault) and so accommodating-- candles and flashlights and in the morning a beautiful basket of bakeries. It was actually kind of a fun bonding thing (but we were glad when the lights came back on he next day!). We loved the apartment itself- very spacious and clean with a beautiful kitchen - we had about half our meals in. The Mission is a great location -- so many interesting shops, restaurants and sights literally around the corner. We were a 5-minute walk from the best bread in (email hidden)-Rite bakery on 18th street. And a great bagel store, katz's, is 2 minutes away. In 2 BART stops we were at Union Square, so it's easy to get anywhere. Thanks Lily, for a memorable Christmas holiday.
We stayed here for a week long conference in Moscone Centre and this beats any SoMa or Union square area hotel: great apartment, nice neighbourhood and having the option to make your own food!
Our rooms were spacious and very clean. The linens and kitchen were well supplied. Lily was very friiendly and readily available as she lives downstairs.
The location was good for us as we were visisting our son and his family who live nearby.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house was 1/2 block from the BART station, there were so many great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within a short walk, and the space itself was amazing. A true San Francisco experience.
Lily was a great host and made sure that every detail was taken care of. Everything was perfect all around.
