Other Things to Note

We had a great stay. Loved the ambiance! Would recommend to especially music lovers looking for a special place! Would stay again.
The room was great. They check-in process a bit confusing until we finally had received instructions from host. Overall it was fine.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Becca's place for a week, over New Year's Eve. The room is really nice, a bit small, but perfect for the price. Sharing the bathroom and the kitchen was not a problem. Sometimes it can be a bit loud because the apartment is right above a bar open until 2 am, however I slept perfectly and the bar itself is a really nice and cozy place, with live music every night. The apartment is well connected with busses to both miami beach and downtown, there is a supermarket right around the corner and a lot of restaurants close by. Overall I was totally satisfied and I would definitely come back!
We enjoyed our stay though we didn't have time to hang out in the wine bar or use the kitchen since we were in town to visit family. There was noise from the bar below, but we got in late enough that it wasn't a problem for us by the time we went to bed. Some mornings we had to wait a bit for the bathroom - there's one that all the rooms share.
This was our second time staying at Lagniappe. It's a great place to stay in Miami. The location is perfect- a quick bus ride to Wynwood, the beach or North Miami. Even quicker if you have a car. But the best part is that you don't have to go far (just downstairs) to enjoy great wine and great live music. Becca is wonderful. She is very accommodating and responsive to any needs you might have. And it's always great to meet and socialize with the other house guests. Recommended!

BECCA, the designer/founder/owner:
David (founder of Lagniappe) and I, both parents, meet through a homeschool co-op group we founded for our children, on an urban organic farm where my daughter and I now live. We have spent the last two years, along with establishing and educating in our little earth schooling tribe, lovingly and passionately co-creating David's Lagniappe wine bar and live music garden and my Lagniappe House hostel. It has been such a pleasure having you all as our guests over the last year since we've been open and we thank you for your help in making it such a success.
ALI, the manager/coresponder:
