Lovely traditional house in the center of a well-preserved village with inside and outside terrace. Very quiet village for relaxing and fresh air in summer thanks to stone walls.
The village is surrounded by vineyards and stone throws away form the first climbs to Mt Ventoux. Bicycle ready with closed basement and bike wash.
The house offers 3 bedrooms.
On the first floor the wide bedroom (28 square meter) offers a direct access to the inner courtyard. It has a comfortable double bed, TNT HD TV, wood stove and a separate water access.
On the upper floor you'll find 2 bedrooms.
The first one is the brightest and widest of all (30 square meter) with view on the Dentelles-du-Montmirail. It offers a comfortable double bed, a separate water access and a wood stove.
The second room is smaller (14 square meter) but has a dedicated bathroom. It offers of course another double bed.
The rooms are newly painted with local techniques and has enough comfort for a pleasant stay. Enjoy the fresh, under shade terrace in hot summertimes or take a typical breakfast on the front terrace with direct access to the kitchen and appreciate the atmosphere of a typical provençal village life with friendly and helpful neighbors.
Parking lots available at the front of the house.
The village has a real soul, with no touristic invasion.
There is a postal office, a little restaurant and a barber.
Bédoin is 3km away, and Carpentras 9km.
You can rent a car directly at the Avignon railway station or get a bus to Carpentras and book a taxi for 15-20 € to the village.
Don't hesitate to ask for great bike tours and/or for secret singletrails!
I'm an avid cyclist and I can't tell you how much the Mont Ventoux is a gold mine for any sort of such activities.

My wife and I chose an apartment in this area as we are keen cyclists and wanted to do the Mont Ventoux climb as well as explore the area. The apartment provided good basic and quiet accommodation with ample space and all the facilities that we needed for an enjoyable stay. While we were there, Sylvestre's brother, Noel, stayed in the adjoining apartment and was a very cheerful and helpful host. We recommend the apartment.
We had an unforgettable weeek. Our goal was to climb the Mont Ventoux by bicycle, and we succeeded. The area is fantastic and ideal for cycling.
Noel, Sylvestre's brother met us and showed us the apartment. Noel gave us the key to the cellar to store our bicycles.
We enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace outside the kitchen in the morning and the dinners in the evening.
I can recommend the apartment, but it is an old house and expectations shall be accordance to that. Everything worked as expected, water, gas, electricity....
Many thanks to Sylvestre & Noel.
Our stay here was so fantastic I don't even know where to begin.
First, the basics that most people want to know: water pressure, bed comfort, size and aesthetics of the place - tout c'est bon. Très, très (très, très) bon. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures, the neighbors are really nice, the area is quiet, and for cycling and nature you could not pick a nicer location.
Secondly, the host. Sylvestre was there with us our whole stay, which is not necessarily typical. It turned out to be a gift that I cannot overstate the value of. Aside from the fact that he is an amazing cyclist and knows the area like the back of his hand, he was also hilarious and generous and we began to really look forward to spending each day with him. So, even if he is not there during your stay, at least know that you are in good hands.
If it sounds like I am gushing, it's because I am. What can I say? We thought we were booking a decent place and ended up with an extraordinary experience.
