Jim and Donna are great!!!! This is my first experience with AirBNB. They set the bar high. I will use the service again. I live in Florida and noticed several locations in Florida.... Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Key West to mention just a few. If my experience in Fremont is the standard. I will use the service again, and again in the United States and beyond. This location is very nice, cost affective, and very comfortable. Private entrance with a neat and cozy environment.
The experience staying at Donna's place is outstanding. I couldn't recommend it more highly. This is my second time staying there and I will stay there again in the future.
Wow. What an incredible experience. Jim and Donna are so lovely and their space is simply amazing. The location worked out wonderfully for me. Only about an hour outside of San Francisco, and 20 minutes from San Jose. The neighborhood was very safe and comfortable. The space itself is comfortable as well, to say the least. I honestly did not want to leave. Jim and Donna, thank you again for your hospitality! If I ever find myself in Freemont again, I will definitely be back.
This is a nice place to stay, very private and quiet. Plenty of space, with a good host!
My stay at Donna's apartment was an outstanding experience. The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Donna's hospitality made you feel like you are at home. The fridge was stocked with drinks and goodies and she hand delivered banana bread one morning. The location is very relaxing. I have nothing but good things to say and will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to the Bay Area.
Donna's place is actually a complete and nice apartment, a spacious one too, which opens to a lovely patio and garden. Located at the end of a quiet subdivision leading to a wide open mountainous natural area. It was a perfect accommodation for us two, truly a home away from home. The apartment is fully equipped, and meticulously clean. Snack basket in the kitchen, soft drinks and bottled water in fridge, there is even a tray of chocolate by the bed. Picturing a perfect host, you'd see Donna, who is knowledgeable, happy, delightful, and accommodating.
My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights during the Thanksgiving holiday. We just needed a few days to relax and unwind while visiting family, and before returning home. This guest unit was so charming, cozy and inviting! It was great for what we were looking for. We arrived to the guest unit warmly greeted by Donna. Her hospitality was very much appreciated and welcoming! Upon entering the guest unit, there's a table set up for two and an adorable kitchenette. There was a refrigerator, microwave, a sink with filtered water, utensils, bowls and cups to meet our accommodation. We loved the numerous snacks and breakfast items provided. The bedroom had a full size bed with a warm blanket and several soft pillows. The bed was firm but comfortable for our short stay. There was also a comfortable chair to relax in, a flat screen tv with remote controls, a small makeup dresser drawer table with a mirror, and a dish of chocolates! The bathroom had ample soft towels and face cloths, a hair dryer and shower gel were also provided. The biggest perk about this guest unit was each room had a heater for those cool East Bay nights. My boyfriend's biggest perk was the cable tv which included the NFL network. Another thing that impressed me was the thoughtful addition of an umbrella in the event of rain, an iron and iron board (available upon request), and our fresh squeezed orange juice waiting for us in the refrigerator. There's an outside patio to enjoy the complimentary coffee and teas next to a relaxing garden. The location is nicely nestled next to a quiet canyon road and about a quick 5 min drive to the Fremont shopping centers and restaurants, which was perfect for our after Thanksgiving holiday shopping. It is also conveniently located to the BART about a 3 min drive straight down the street. This is perfect for those wanting to travel to Berkeley, Oakland, or any other areas in the East Bay as this is the Bart's first or last stop in Fremont. The guest unit was cozy, extremely clean and nicely decorated. Donna obviously strived to make the stay comfortable and memorable, which she nicely accomplished. We really enjoyed our stay here! We plan to return and we hope that Donna's guest unit is available next time.

I was born and raised in Phoenix,AZ and I love the desert! However, I now live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband Jim of 33 years since 1980. He is a retired Air Traffic controller
but still works for the government and I have been in the Food and Beverage industry since the
1970's. I currently work for the Hyatt Regency Hotel and have been there since 1997.
For the first 10 years it was owned by Westin Hotels and Resorts. It is with pride that I have
been privileged to work for companies that adhere to such high standards and a commitment
to high quality service.
In 1987 we purchased an old victorian house and took on the challenge to totally renovate and
double the square footage. Now, with Airbnb, we have the opportunity to share this with others.
We have also enjoyed renovating our desert home, in Phoenix, where we visit as frequently as possible.
My interests include: extensive creative sewing, gourmet cooking, gardening (including vegetables
and heirloom tomatoes) and entertaining to name a few.
Jim's interests include: running two big bands as well as playing the trombone, collecting, repairing and racing Minis and British cars. He also loves ballroom dancing, flying airplanes and anything
related to aviation.
We both enjoy meeting people and having fun. Every day is a new experience and we look forward to meeting you.
