Kathryn was a great host. Check in was easy - she met us at the apartment and gave us the keys. She had kindly left a number of snacks for us.
The apartment is comfortable and was ideally suited for our visit to our son who lives in Boerum Hill. The kitchen was well equipped, she even left us Stumptown coffee.....
I would definitely stay at Kathryn's place again.
Me and my two friends had a wonderful stay in brooklyn and in Katheryns apartment. We arrived later than plan due to traffic jams, but the keys was left with a friend of Katheryns so everything went smooth at the arrival anyway, and in the fridge there was some beers and snacks waiting for us when we finally got there.
The place was great and Kathryn was very accommodating! She recommended a bunch of great places in the area, and made herself available if anything came up. It was a wonderful stay.
Kathryn was extremely accommodating and communicative throughout the process. Her place is comfortable and nice to come home to at the end of the day. I did not find it noisy at night (and I can be a light sleeper), but maybe that's because she left ear plugs. The exact neighborhood might not be for everyone, it's industrial, but it's walking distance to some of the most charming/cool/fun spots in Brooklyn.
A very spacious apartment. Kathryn took great care of us and responded quickly to any issues we had. Take note that the apartment is in an industrial neighbourhood. A lot of heavy trucks come through which can be quite noisy (as a light sleeper I had a few bad nights). The neighbourhood also offers lots of great restaurants and coffeeshops nearby (I recommend 61Local). 10 minute walk from several subways.
My flight was late and my luggage lost, so I didn't show up until much later than expected - I kept Kathryn in the loop and she was both understanding and welcoming. She even lent me some tights, since I had no warm clothing! The apartment is really cute. It's clean, roomy and well located. She left out snacks and beverages for me, too!
Pleasant two bedroom apartment in a walkable Brooklyn neighborhood. Easy access to subway lines into Manhattan. Local neighborhood streets have charming restaurants and bars. Would recommend!
We had a great stay. There's an eat-in kitchen which was nicely equipped. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. The apt. was cozy and clean and the host was very helpful and friendly. However, some may have issue with the neighborhood.
