kayaking, woods, swimming, outdoor shower, great restaurants, - many people say it feels like a secluded mountain get away, but close to town and in the low-country :)
Interaction with Guests
we are here on the property too, but there's a whole 8.5 acres to enjoy, and the space feels very private, while also being part of a community.
Other Things to Note
we are looking to have the hot tub set up very very soon for the winter months :) yessss!!!
Polite. Respect all things and return them to their place. Leave all personal items be please. Deal with our dogs kindly and as explained. Thank you.
This was the most amazing Airbnb experience I've ever had. The property is a dream; no photos or description could ever do this place justice. Willis and her dogs were very sweet and were more than accommodating. The garden on the property is beautiful, and the pond is more like a mini-lake: very clear and clean. A very inspiring and cleansing experience. Having our coffee on the screened-in porch or the dock was a perfect way to start our days, and a shower outside in the sunset was a perfect way to end them. Can't wait to be back!
Nature Lover's Loft is truly just that. Nestled in the countryside of John's Island, this little paradise offers so much. Every morning we kayaked the small lake and every night we watched the stars from the floating dock. The loft is so homey that my boyfriend was content hanging around listening to vinyl records. Willis and her husband are both great people who are so welcoming. The dogs are just as welcoming and kind as their owners.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time to the say the least... Willis has truly created a special spot on John's Island. If you are looking to relax for a few days and step away from the the Nature Lovers Loft is perfect for you.
The air conditioning was perfect and kept the loft nice and cool at night. We cooked one of the nights and enjoyed the music from her record collection (the kitchen has everything you would need). We enjoyed the lighting and the screen porch, the first night we drank beer and listened to the local symphony of frogs - so relaxing. The nights were so clear with almost zero light pollution from the city, you could see so many different constellations with ease. The outdoor shower was great and was very private for those who may be worried. It was about 20 minutes away from both downtown and Kiawah Beachwalkers Beach which was perfect since we wanted to be a little off the beaten path.
Willis is a wonderful and sweet host. When we saw her she always checked to see if we need anything. And when we managed to get a little burnt at the beach she pointed out where we could find some aloe within the loft. Huge help!
Charleston is a very beautiful place, and I feel like my girlfriend and I really lucked out stumbling on Willis' retreat on Airbnb. If you are looking to relax and forget about your worries look no further... You will find lots of TLC in every inch of her home.
It was a great place. Accurate description of lodging and environs.
It was truly a great deal and we came to love our little home away from home. It was in a great location and the place had everything you needed. Loved outdoor shower. The place is very neat and clean. It should be noted in terms of decor it is not a minimalist's dream. It is very cozy with lots of pictures to look at, books, etc. The 3 best aspects of this lovely cottage are the location, the natural environment and the peaceful, quiet surroundings.
Nothing but positive things to say. Willis has created a beautiful place which makes you feel happy and very much at peace. Everything in the house is so tastefully put together. The record player with a number of great records was a wonderful touch. Would highly recommend this place!
