The unit is an easy 30-minute drive to Old Mission Peninsula and a 60-minute drive to Leelanau Peninsula. Explore the historic landmarks, lighthouse and nature found in Leelanau State Park. Take a quick ferry ride to take in the beauty and feel the sand between your toes at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore or Manitou Island. If you love the outdoors, explore one of the many trails in the area and be sure to take in the iconic view of Lake Michigan Overlook. Hike, bike, swim, sail, golf- there is so much to do!
Enjoy a great wine? There are nearly 40 wineries and vineyards that are unique to the area due to the microclimate provided by Lake Michigan. There are tons of wine tasting events year-round.
