Please note that this home is located in a peaceful rural mountain setting. Guests may occasionally encounter seasonal insects, wildlife, natural outdoor sounds, and other characteristics typical of countryside properties in the Blue Ridge region.
If you do encounter stink bugs or lady bugs, please do not smash them (they live up to their name!).
We recommend using the vacuum or the provided dish-soap + water jars to collect and dispose of them easily.
The indoor fireplace uses a carefully arranged log set. For safety and proper operation, please follow the instructions provided. Adjusting the logs incorrectly can affect performance or damage the unit.
