About this listing
This comfortable, private, and quiet one bedroom flat is perfect for one person or has space for up to four people. It takes 25 minutes to get to the heart of London. There are excellent restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and a theatre 5 minutes walk.
This is a beautiful one bedroom apartment in a classic large well maintained Victorian house. The flat has two rooms, one bedroom and another large room used as a living room, kitchen and dining room.
The large windows bring a lot of sunlight into the flat. The curtains are thick and the flat is dark when closed. All of the windows have double glazing, keeping out the noise.
Next to the main room is the bathroom which has a toilet and shower. The area is safe and the apartment is decorated with art and furniture from around the world.
The bedroom has a beautiful king size double bed. The main room has a couch that folds out into a double bed with a full mattress. The apartment can fit up to four people as long as those four people do not mind sharing a bed between two. I also provide an air mattress.
Please see the reviews which have been excellent. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Also see the lists of amenities in the flat and feel free to ask any questions.
It is a private flat and all facilities will be yours only so not shared. I live elsewhere so I do not stay at the flat.
The guests will have access to the entire one bedroom flat and they will not share it. The apartment is in a Victorian House. Access is through a shared entrance and exit through the main door.
Interaction with Guests
I will interact with the guests whenever necessary or not as you prefer. I can meet guests when they arrive or I can also mail the keys if that is preferred. When you leave please leave the keys in the flat and close the door behind you. I can always be quickly reached for any reason.
The area has a variety of excellent and affordable restaurants. Osteria Tufo (Italian), Thai Food (Cats), Japanese (Dotori), for breakfast and brunch (The Front Room), Turkish (Petek), and more. Please ask and see the 'guidebook' section for specific details.
The area also has a great theatre (Park Theatre, www.parktheatre.co.uk) which has amazing shows with up and coming and big names.
There is a wonderful pub, the Faltering Fullback, with one of the best outdoor seating areas in London, just around the corner.
It is also a short walk to Arsenal football stadium and
Public transport links in the area are excellent with the Victoria Line and Piccadilly Line, the two fastest and most frequent tube lines, both connecting at Finsbury Park station. There are also overground, trains and buses that connect all over London and England.
The station is a 5 or 10 minute walk depending on if you have luggage or not.
It takes 25 minutes door to door to get into the heart of London (Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Oxford Circus or Covent Garden).

You can use any food, spices or oils. The pots and pans are kept in the oven and cupboard above the fridge. When using the washing machine please ensure that you do not try to open the machine before it is completely finished. Turn the dial to the number 9 setting to operate.
Coffee machine and blender is kept in the other cupboard when you come into the main room.
Instructions for that flat:
The smoke alarm on the ceiling next to the oven is sensitive so use the fan above the stove. If you forget and the smoke alarm goes off just use something long nearby to press the button on it. There is a double bed in the bedroom.
There is a second bed in the main room. The couch folds out into a full single bed. Make sure that there is nothing in front of the couch and that the one seat matching couch next to it is not in the way but pull gently on the top of the couch to get the bed out. No force needed. When folding the bed back, remove the cushions first or else they sometimes get pinched in the folding mechanism.
There are lots of clean towels and sheets. All sheets on the beds will be clean but for extra sheets for the single bed and generally see the wooden cabinets at head height in the main room. All the extra pillows and bedding will be in that cabinet.
Wifi details are on the black box behind the couch and on my site page along with lots of restaurant and pub information including the local theater and other information about the neighborhood.
I have video games and lots of movies and you can play them using the Xbox in the cabinet in the bedroom as well as a double air mattress if you need a third bed.
