Amanda and Greg were excellent in communicating exactly what their property offered as well as their expectations. The welcome letter they send covers everything. As the welcome letter covers everything, the house is stocked will all the basic necessities and even some essentials that one could easily overlook (Loved the ear plugs for light sleepers!).
My friends and I really enjoyed staying at their house and when coming in large groups, we would love to stay here again and again and again....
The accommodations were even better than expected. One of our best AirBnb experiences thus far. Location was very convenient to the conference we attended.
Our group of friends & family were in Austin for a weekend getaway to celebrate a friend’s bachelorette weekend. We chose this rental because it was central to all of the locations we would need easy access to. As soon as we all walked in we were absolutely wowed at how nice Amanda & Greg’s rental looked. The renovations they have made were lovely. The kitchen was gorgeous with all new sleek appliances and had all the items we needed in stock. There was plenty of room for our group of 7. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends & family and look forward to our next stay!
Our overall experience was great! It was a great location to get downtown and to our friends in North Austin. The accommodations were terrific and the decor was fantastic. It was easy to get wherever we needed.
Very nice house and accurately described. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Overall the house was fine. Neighborhood is obviously a little bit on the older side. There are many houses on the street that do their best in maintaining their charm and then you have some slum homes... The house that has both a couch and love seat on the curb was an interesting touch. These are some things the host can't control. The house itself seems very dark... The host has low energy bulbs throughout which are green friendly but offer little in terms of lighting. A lot of animal hair throughout the property. Anytime you open or close the blinds, a plethora of dog hair flies thru the air. The back yard is unusable as the grass is dead but it is the middle of summer here in Austin and Texas is in a drought. The kitchen was fantastic! Entire house is updated with regards to appliances and we used the kitchen daily! Hard to get a response from the host during the stay. Emailed, texted, and left voicemails during the stay but they were never acknowledged. No biggie, I'm sure the host was busy. All in all in was a comfortable stay and I would definitely think of this property again if I needed one.
The home is centrally located, and being close to downtown means the homes will be older. Regarding the couch and love seat, you caught the street on bulk trash week. Twice a year the city picks up large items like furniture and it does make things temporarily unsightly.
Our homes are professionally cleaned and I'm surprised to hear that there was a cleaning problem. Had we known we would have tried to get the cleaners back out to resolve any issues. We went through our phone and email records, and only received one text to which we responded in 4 minutes. We pride ourselves on our communication and quick response time, so we're not sure what happened here. The low energy bulbs do take a minute to warm up, but are very bright once they do. Lastly Austin is on stage 2 watering restrictions, so green grass is not something we can guarantee if mother nature doesn't help out.

We've been in Austin for 15 years and love it! We have multiple rentals in Austin and one in Port Aransas. We enjoy traveling but are more into relaxation than adventure. Whenever there's a group of us going we always prefer to stay in a home versus a hotel.
Amanda has been a licensed Realtor for 11 years and loves her job. If you're looking to buy or sell a house let us know and we can see if we'd be a good match.
