We had a really nice time staying at Monica's cosy apartment. She was very helpful in the arrangements, and giving us recommendations of where to eat in the local area.
It was just a short tram ride into the centre of town, so the location was handy. And the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The reservation was canceled 38 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Monica's apartment was great for our weekend stay in Zurich. It is in a nice safe residential area, with easy access to other parts of town and the main train station. We did not meet her in person but she was communicative and answered all our questions promptly. The place is easy to find and has good access to public transport. It is about a 20 minute walk to the touristy places in the Old Town area. Thanks Monica for a nice visit!
Monica's flat was the perfect place from which to base our explorations of Zurich. The space is charming and spacious and filled with quirky touches. In the morning we'd walk across the street to the bakery for pastries and then make coffee with Monica's Bialetti. At night we'd sit on the balcony and drink wine. The neighborhood itself is somewhat up-and-coming, and we enjoyed getting to know its numerous shops and restaurants. Monica recommended some of her favorite eateries (that we never would've found otherwise) which were all delicious. It's a 5-10 minute ride from the flat to downtown on the #3 tram, and we made the trip numerous times a day. Monica herself was friendly and attentive, always emailing quickly whenever we had questions and going above-and-beyond to make us feel at home.
