FREE BIKES (3)!!!
In one of the nicest (prize-winning!) streets in Amsterdam, built in the Amsterdam School style, a newly renovated two bedroom apartment on third and fourth (top) floor.
A spacious living room with build-in dairy kitchen. One bathroom on fourth floor with bath, separate shower, toilet and one sink (not as shown in floor map); a toilet on third floor. A balcony adjacent to kitchen and another large balcony adjacent to smaller bedroom.
The larger bedroom has a double bed, the smaller one a double comfortable pull-out sofa.
Lots of books and dvd's in multiple languages. A large 27" screen Mac with printer and (website hidden) (with HBO channel) and dvd player in living room and in small bedroom.
Microwave, juicer, dishwasher, hairdryer, iPhone/Pad/Pod-dock.
Bed sheets, towels, shampoo and shower gel are available.
Also closet space and rod for hanging your clothes.
Three bikes available; you don't need to pay rent to use them, but you'll have to make a deposit, which will be returned to you the minute you return the bike and keys to the bike.
A 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam-Amstel railway station and a 3 minutes walk from the nearest underground stop. From there a 7 minute ride to city center and a 12 minute ride to Central Station. The airport can be reached within half an hour.
I have three public transportation cards for within Amsterdam which you can use. You have to recharge them yourself; still, it's much cheaper to travel that way.
Walking distance from two gorgeous parks, from the Artis Zoo, the flea-market, and the Portuguese Synagogue. Grocery around the corner, and lots of other shops also within walking distance. Plenty of pubs and restaurants, some good, some better, can be found close by.
Quiet multicultural neighborhood.
I would be grateful if you could feed my cat while I'm away.

Hello to all. I was very impressed by the fact that this apartment had a lot of positive feedback , but my stay was not so . Upon arrival, Judith showed us the apartment , and found the refrigerator full ( already not very big ) with only one shelf you can use for free as many as 5 people! This has created many problems. Not to mention the check-out where we were practically thrown out , fixed at the last minute to 5 pm, and instead Judith anticipated at 3 pm . We have not even had time to tidy up the house and our belongings , we found that the bags made, and on the sidewalk, then you are also allowed to put our hands in our suitcases.
After being treated in this way we also received complaints from Judith false we made noise until 4 am, when we were very careful about this , and of course being in holiday we could not even stay awake until one o'clock in the morning because woke up us soon.
I was very disappointed by this host, and if I knew who it was so I would never have made this reservation .
In response to Judith: It is not true that we arrived at 5 but at 3 o'clock, and she was already inside the apartment dall1 and was allowed to open the bags to put our things inside. We would have liked to put in order the show (which was not as dimensioned) and our things, but we were not allowed for these reasons. Not to mention the fact that the 4 new guests were already present in the apartment and check out was at 5. According to being paying customers expect it to be the prerogative of the owner to make available the refrigerator for up to 5 people, such as cleaning, having paid € 30 for cleaning.
Sorry about the fridge. A pity you didn't tell me, so I could have cleared some more space.
About check-out: I told you the other guests would be there by 17:00. You came back only at 17:00 while the living room was still a big mess (tobacco, cigarette butts, rolling paper, beer cans everywhere). I did not put your bags on the sidewalk, but collected them in the living room.
It's a good thing most Airbnb guests have more respect for my property.
Nice, comfortable apartment. Close to the historic center or to Museumplein - 15-20 minute walk. 7-10 minutes walk from the Amstel and major bus hub. A quiet street. Two great balconies on each floor. Friendly independent cat). Reliable bikes (they survived 95 km of the trip to the sea to the west and than back through the Zaandam). We ride by bus comfortably in Naarden and Muiden, by the train to Volendam.
