Nice, bright comfortable one bedroom apartment ( with sofa bed in lounge) in a secure block with a porter and videophone entry in Central London. Un lugar agradable, una zona fantástica, Deborah nos ha proporcionado todo lo que hemos necesitado. Gracias.
This flat is exactly what you expect from the pictures: it is clean, organized, and luminous. There is a balcony on which we enjoyed our morning coffee everyday. It was great!
The flat is also very well-located: while it is quiet during all times of the day, it is very close to Southbank which is bussling with life. There are restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, etc as well as movie theaters and other art centers. Finally, Burrough market is right around the corner, for people who enjoy trying out all sorts of food.
Deborah is also a great host. She welcomed us very warmly and explained in detail the workings of the apartment. She even went through the trouble of getting us some of the best coffee in London for our stay. When we come back to London, we will definitively stay at Deborah's again.
This was our 2nd stint with Deborah and, again, we had a really fantastic time. As mentioned before, the apartment is great and in a wonderful area. If anything, the area is only getting better with the new developments on the promenade outside City Hall on the Thames. Deborah has been really wonderful to work with and it has all been a very easy and happy experience. Wish all travel could be like this.
Deborah made us feel very welcome. It is a perfect part of London to stay in. You can walk to either the London Bridge tube or the Tower Hill one (over the bridge) in 10 mins. That will get you anywhere.
The views from the promenade on the South Bank are spectacular and there are always people milling about.
The flat is very bright and airy and the patio looks down into the piazza which isn't too busy so you will feel you have an oasis of relative calm once you are home.
Deborah was very easy to deal with and everything was as laid out in the ad. It makes London very pleasing to experience. A great flat and a great town too.
Deborah was an excellent host and her flat is simply amazing.Everything at your doorstep, tube station, coffee shop, restaurant and much more...
I highly recommend it.
My two teenage kids and I enjoyed very much living in the Fab Tower Bridge in London. It has charm, is near exciting things to visit (Tate Modern, Themse, Markets) and even though it is in the middle of a vibrating part of London, it is quite. I also enjoyed very much sitting on the balcony while sunset! Deborah was a great host. Since all the smartphones of a family like ours needed power but the Swiss plug connector was not fitting, we were in trouble, but Deborah solved it by bringing the right adaptor for us.
Deborah was great, quick to respond and flexible with meeting up; she is interesting, good fun and well travelled. She gets it! The apartment is in a great location for Borough market and Bermondsey, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London and walking along the Thames. It's close enough to touristy things but also a quiet respite. Sadly I was there for work! Still it was good to soak up the atmosphere of that part of London. Recommended.
About the Host, Deborah
Welcoming and helpful, I want our guests to really enjoy everything that London has to offer and feel very at home here. My favourite things about this flat are the view, not being on a road, being so close to the river , shopping in borough market and trying to get a table at Brindisa . It also feels like a nice neighbourhood. We also speak French and some Spanish for bookings.
