I could not have stayed at a more perfect place. I was so comfortable which was so important because I was there taking a big exam that I was nervous about. I passed!! And I know the comfort of the butterfly bungalow and Lisa had something to do with that! Will definitely stay here again!!!
Lisa's house was cute and very nicely furnished, and she left us nice homemade snacks. Thanks!
I didn't get the chance to meet Lisa, but everything was smooth, and the accommodation was as described. It was so nice and quiet.
I stayed at Lisa's for several weeks, using it as a basis to do research in Illinois: it's been a great experience. Lisa is easy to communicate with. She made me feel at home straight away. You'll have plenty of privacy, but Lisa is happy to show you around Champaign too. Plus: Annie is a blast.
In short, definitely recommended.
I had a great time at the Butterfly Bungalow! It's a cosy place in a nice green neighbourhood. The bus that stops around the corner takes you directly to the University of Illinois campus, which was very convenient for me. Lisa was away for most of my stay, but everything was organized well and she kept in touch with me regularly to see if I needed anything. I met Lisa and Annie on my last day there. They are both wonderful. Lisa showed me around town and drove me to my bus. This was my first AirBnb experience and I very very happy.
I really enjoyed my stay at Lisa's Butterfly Bungalow. Her home is informal and very comfortable. She is a warm and friendly hostess, preparing a delicious breakfast and at the same time providing an intelligent and interesting conversation. Her very friendly little puppy adds that extra bit of home, making my stay that much more homey. Thanks.
Lisa and her adorable corgi, Annie, made me feel welcome while I was in town for a race. The room and bed were very comfortable, and the very hot shower soothed my sore muscles. I didn't get to talk to Lisa much as my stay was very brief, but I would definitely recommend her as a hostess, and would stay with her again in the future!
I am an AirBnB fan because I like to get a relaxed, inside view
of towns I am visiting. That is just what Lisa and her homey
bungalow delivered. No drama, just a good place to share a
cup with Lisa and her pup.
Lisa (and her very cute dog Annie) made me feel right at home. She even baked muffins for my breakfasts. The room was very comfortable. A great first Airbnb experience.
Lisa and her corgi Annie were both absolutely fantastic. She was flexible, a fun person to talk to, and a gracious host. I'd definitely stay there again.
