  • This was my 2nd stay at Lisa's bungalow, as I was in Champaign visiting my daughter attending college there. Lisa is a charming host, and staying there is truly a home away from home. I highly recommend staying there.

  • i thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay in the Bungalow. Lisa is a super host. She gave me some tips for finding my way around town which helped! Her home is a cozy and charming Arts & Crafts style early 20th c house with nice details. Great hot shower which I love. Lisa was thoughtful and provided some of my favorite breakfast items to make me feel at home. That added to delicious coffee and some locally picked fruits made it a winning combo. Oh...and her sweet baby Annie, her pup, is a true best friend without being obtrusive.

  • Lisa was an excellent host. Her home is located just west of the campus area in a quiet neighborhood with a few nearby parks. The bedroom was cozy, comfortable and clean. Lisa also had breakfast available and was very helpful in terms of offering suggestions about places to eat in the area. I brought my bicycle with me and she let me store it in her garage overnight, which was especially cool. I'd definitely stay at the Butterfly Bungalow next time I'm in Champaign!

  • I didn't get the chance to meet Lisa, but everything was smooth, and the accommodation was as described.

  • Lisa and Annie are wonderful hosts! Butterfly Bungalow is a wonderful place to call home in Champaign. Upon arrival Lisa provided a thorough overview of the house AND the city---pointing out the grocery store, pool, local bar, good spots to eat, and the easiest route to the University. Come in the summer and enjoy the gracious backyard and well-tended garden!

  • I stayed with Lisa for an extended visit to Champaign, and I'm so glad I did! She and her dog Annie made me feel right at home. As a bonus, the bed was super comfy. I've already made another reservation to return!

  • Lisa is a charming, gracious and welcoming host. Sweet bungalow with 2 bedrooms, very comfortable bedroom and access to entire house. Furnishings are lovely vintage. Very clean, great shower. A quiet neighborhood with easy walk to great places for breakfast. Wi-fi is included. Lisa has an adorable Corgi, friendly but not offensive. If you like dogs, you'll love Annie. Would not hesitate to recommend for a short stay in Champaign.
