This property is ideal for young travelholics, business travelers and couples, who appreciate the peace and comfort of a sunny, fully renovated old apartment building.

Your rented area of the apartment is 20 sqm in size and includes your guest-bedroom, a dressing room and a bathroom with shower. Your private, lockable, wonderful day light-filled guest room to the southside has numerous amenities for guests who like to read, relax and enjoy an attractive interior design.
Beauty is revealed in details.
Venetian gondolas on the wall, Portuguese Atlantic sea shells on the windowsill, a tropical houseplant (Phoenix roebelenii), a bucket of Pomerania Baltic Sea sand breeze. Cedar and willow create comfort in the guest room. Finally, the eye dwells with.
Beside a small desk with a reading lamp for working and a designer-arc lamp with marble base you will also find numerous murals in your guest room.
Eyecatcher is certainly the pyramidal-obelisk-like tower of sound of the Hamburg company named XOUNTS, with which you can create a relaxed Dolby surround sound during your stay via Bluetooth or cable jack.
The tailor-made bed frame (1.40 x 2.00 m) with a high quality mattress offers a choice of pillows and a duvet in comfort format (1.55 x 2.20 m) for a magnificent sleep for 1 or 2 people on a particularly sublime sleeping height of 0.60 m above the floor.
Directly from the bed you can look out at the stars, or darken the room by a shade of course, if you're more of the late-riser type.
Forget the noise of the big city road traffic! If you open your guest room window, you will be only disturbed by the bird songs in the morning, by the sun shining warmth during the day or the cheerful laughter of the neighbourhood children in the car-free garden courtyard in the afternoon :)
There are also six different design lampshade inside your guestroom, which produce a wide variety of room lighting moods.
Besides drinking glasses and napkins, cutting knives, cake forks, spoons and plates, corkscrew and bottle opener are readily available in your guest room. In addition, you can expect a cute tea and coffee station with a wide variety of fruits and black tea. A kettle is ready for you of course.
Just next door in the bathroom is shampoo, soap and body lotion ready for you, of course. After a refreshing shower bath in the spacious shower cabin, a hair dryer is available for your hair. Furthermore, for the ladies, a cosmetic mirror is at hand.

| CONNECTIONS WITHIN THE CITY |
Best public transport stop is MOSENSTRASSE (a 6 minute walk away from the apartment).
From here you have a direct and all-day-round tramway connection with tramway line No. 4 into the baroque city of Dresden (Frauenkirche, the Zwinger, Brühl's Terrace), the Golden Rider, the inner new town, to the Radebeul vineyards and to the fine art cinemas in Dresden-Striesen.
To Dresden Christmas market “Striezelmarkt” you only got 6 tramway stops to take.
The tram line 10 takes you directly to the famous river bridge “Blaues Wunder”, to the riverbanks of Blasewitz and to the transparent car factory of Volkswagen, the miniature railway in the Great Garden, to the main railway station (Hbf.) and to the Messe Dresden (fairground).
The bus line 64 provides connections to Panometer Dresden with circular paintings of the artist Assisi and to the S-Bahnhof Dresden-Reick, from where you can reach the scenic hiking and climbing region of Saxony Switzerland within 30 minutes. In the other direction you can easily access the Waldschlösschen quarter, the military history museum and the big shopping mall called "Elbepark" in the northwestern part of Dresden.
From the bus stop SPENERSTRASSE (up there about 6 minutes walk) behind the Kaufland supermarket you have all day connection by bus line 63 every 10 minutes directly to train station Dresden-Strehlen and to “Carolaschlösschen” with restaurant boating lake in the Great Garden, to the Dresden mountain railways in Loschwitz and to wineries in Wachwitz and to the baroque Pillnitz castle.
On the stop GABELSBERGERSTRASSE you can jump into tramline No. 4 (until November) or tramline No. 12 (from November) and of course into the new busline No. 64 over the new "Waldschlösschenbrücke" in direction to "Elbepark".
By taxi or car it takes about 10 minutes to Dresden fair or old town and about 20 minutes to the airport Dresden (DRS).
You can leave your car right in front of the apartment building. Also available are numerous free parking lots in the surrounding residential streets.
With a bicycle it takes about 15 minutes into the historical old town of Dresden on comfortable roads away from heavy traffic. On quiet, light traffic city roads you can also reach the Great Garden or the riverbanks of the Elbe within 10 minutes. In my lockable cellar storage compartment is also enough free space for two guest bicycles.
Ideal for jogging and walking are the numerous paths and tracks on the riverside of the Elbe, in the “Waldpark” and in the Great Garden (“Großer Garten”)
| DIRECT APARTMENT ENVIRONMENT |
Fresh bread and a good selection of cakes you get within 80 meters from the apartment at a regional bakery store. A recommended organic bakery with good cake selection is also available in 750 meters. You can have Café breakfast on the “Borsbergstraße” near the tram stop “Mosenstraße” in a bakery store called “Möbius” or after a 8-minute tram ride directly in the baroque Old Town.
A small beverage shop with magazines (1 minute walking), kebab snack, pizza sports bar, ice cream parlor and hairdresser (both 2-minutes away) as well as drug stores, pharmacies, fashion stores, butcher shops, tanning salons, a Thalia book store and large Kaufland supermarket (each 5-minute) are available.
Gastronomically you can make a little world trip in Striesen without leaving this district of the city: From Italian (" Pizzeria & Trattoria Giardino" or grocery and Osteria “La Viletta") on Austrian ("Almhütte"), German, Greek ("Atlantis") to Chinese restaurants ("Le Linh"), a wide range is available.
A “Penny” and “Lidl” supermarket and a small late shop at “Wittenberger Straße” (opened daily until 1 ‘o clock am) are 10 to 12 minute’s walk away.
800 meters away you can find a bike shop with repair service and a good selection of rental bikes (Trekking, City, Monutain Bike, E-Bike) from 8 € per day.
If you also still have special requests or need detailed information for your travel planning: Simply e-mail me!
Anyone who would like to smoke is kindly requested to visit the spacious inner courtyard, but please do not decorate the pavement with cigarette dumbs there :)
And last but not least: Just feel like home and enjoy Dresden!
I look forward to see you!
As my guest, you will receive your own key to the apartment and your guest room, so you are totally independent during your stay.
In addition to the guest rooms (including free Wi-Fi) you have access to the bathroom and additional space to store your luggage and clothes in the dressing room.
I can offer a secured storage place for all of my guests with bicycle in the basement compartment of the building.
Car parking is for free right in front of the building.
Interaction with Guests
I take plenty of time for each personal check-in to discuss all your questions about the city and gastronomic and architectural secrets in town without a hurry.
During your stay I am available for you at any time via E-Mail, SMS or phone call.
I'm also pleased to show you my neighborhood - if desired - on a little walk around. With some of my guests I already had a spontaneous small city tour by bike or a stopover at an ice cream shop.
But the decision about that is all to yours.
Your privacy during the stay is guaranteed.
House rules ... that sounds a bit dusty and stale to me. The following points are only mentioned to avoid misunderstandings in advance and allow you a worry-free and enjoyable stay in Dresden!
(1) Please note that you NOT book a hotel room with 24-7 reception but a private and comfortable NON smoking designer guest room in a very peaceful residential area of Dresden without any car traffic noise in front of your window. Please excuse that I cannot accommodate guests with extremely smoky clothes.
(2) By the delivery of the keys for your guest room, I ask you politely to identify yourself by passport or ID card.
(3) Please no parties in the apartment, because I would not want you to miss the much more exciting nightlife on the Louisenstrasse in Dresden-Neustadt :)
(4) Please think on the neighbors after 10 pm. Please do not bring any unannounced guests or dogs in the apartment with you.
(5) Please check whether room light is turned off before you leave the apartment for shopping or sight-seeing.
(6) For any damage or missing fixtures the tenant replace the harm, this also applies for lost house keys.
(7) A late check-out in the afternoon can be arranged without any problems, if discussed before. Please make sure, that you don't forget any personal belongings in the apartment at time of check-out.
But most of all:
ENJOY your stay and leave the room upon departure, if possible in a similar condition as found on arrival :D
I look forward for a lot of nice and interesting guests from all over the world!
Best regards and see you soon, Enriqué.
I had such a lovely time at Enriqué's place!
I can't even describe the accuracy of all the details, in the room (which is even nicer than in the pictures, I need to say!) and even in the bathroom. Super clean and everything placed with such a fineness!, from the fruit in the basket to the chocolates and the orangejuice for the guests, to the delicious breakfast he prepared and left me the evening before I left.
Both Alte Stadt and Neue Stadt are very easily reachable by tram.
Enriqué is extremely kind and friendly and he helped me with whatever advice I needed (and picked me up at the bus station 9pm 'cause I didn't have a map). He also speaks a bit of Italian, which was so nice to hear!
Strongly recommended! :)
I wish there were a 6 star rating so I could fairly convey how wonderful my experience was with Enrique. He anticipates every need of the traveller. Excellent communication. Explicit maps and travel recommendations. And his hospitality is par none. From robe and slippers to fresh pastries and fruit. And drinks of every kind. He, himself, is a seasoned traveller and addresses everything - good lodging and train bookings, maps and recommendations, explicit directions - and was a great help with arrangements to my next travel destination, Prague. He spent hours helping me get the best rates and fares! He's impeccably organized. His place is neat, clean and comfortable. His place is in a nice neighborhood that is convenient to public transportation. The room is quiet and I got the best night's sleep of my journey.
But more than that, he is a helpful and genuinely wonderful world citizen. He hosts because he loves it, not as a business. But, should you chose to be completely independent, he is so quiet and considerate that you will feel you are in place completely on your own. I will definitely return to Dresden and would choose to stay with Enrique over any 5 star hotel. He is truly a 6 star host.
Had a great time in this very comfortable room practically located for meetings at the university hospital and close enough to center by tram. Very nice reception from Enrique with fruits etc. Highly recommended

Derzeitige Lieblingsreiseziele: Sardinien, Pommersche Ostsee, Paris, Praha, Venezia.
Selbstverständlich spreche ich auch Englisch und Französisch. Darüber hinaus sind Grundkenntnisse in Italienisch und Portugiesisch vorhanden.

Hello travel mates :#)
I love to explore european cities, their traffic planning and the numerous kinds of historical and architectual treasures and new ideas of city development. I like going to theatre, cinema and stylish bars.
I am a citizen of the world ... but I also love when the world comes to visit me at my house!

Je parle aussi le Francais. Parlo anche un po 'italiano. Falo um pouco de Português também ;)
