About this listing
While staying at my place for a longer period of time you will have the opportunity to visit my studio where I will explain about my work; when interested I can take you to specific events when happening. There is a lot to share on all kind of items.
I am a friendly and patient person, who likes a good talk - I am openminded and eager to learn and look forward to welcoming you to my house with two rooms for guests.
The house is a nice and cozy dwelling of a busy artist. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood along the centre of town ('s-Hertogenbosch).
The system of Airbnb doesn't provide the opportunity to give the right information:
in the house where I live myself as well I have a small room with a single bed and a bigger room with a 2-person couch available, which sleeps 3 persons / night totally.
Guests are invited to use kitchen, fridge and washing machine when necessary.
Den Bosch is a historic city about 80km away from Amsterdam (very easy to reach by train). From my house it is only a short walk to the center of town. There are many pubs, restaurants and shops. It is also a short distance to the green outer parts of the city from where you can have a great view of the old cathedral. (Sint Jan's cathedral) which is said to be one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the Netherlands.
Just have a look at the pictures and get in touch if you have any questions or if you would like to make a booking!
Guests have access to washing machine, fridge, cooking equipment and stove in the kitchen.
Interaction with Guests
I have regular chats with my guests, and if you are staying for a longer period cooking or eating together is an opportunity depending on our schedules.
I like the greenish environment of this area of the city, with the outskirts, parc and citycenter on walking distance.
The bus around the corner brings you to the railwaystation in 10-15 minutes (connections to Schiphol 1h, Utrecht 1/2h, Amsterdam 1h, Eindhoven 1/2h, Breda 40m, Nijmegen 1/2h), although walking to the Railway station takes about 15-20 minutes straight through the nice center of town.
Other Things to Note
We separate garbage (plastic, paper, green, metal and rest).
We respect each other.
We clear away mess.
Leidi is a laid back lady
Leidi is very hospitable and an interesting person. She's very laid-back and broad-minded. I enjoyed the many cozy talks. She definately made my stay more comfortable.
Her house is situated at a perfect location. Very close to the city centre (4 min bicycling to the central train station). It's in a peacefull neighboorhood, next to the nice forest. There's also a small park nearby where I sometimes spent time reading.
My room was nice. More than enough space, comfortable bed and practical with the sink in the room. When I wanted to cook I could always make use of the kitchen and all kitchenware in it. The house itself was very authentic.
In short, I can recommend a stay at Leidi.
Leidi lives in a nice and quiet neighbourhood, which is on walking distance from town as well as a lovely nature area.
The house has a warm lively atmosphere and a fluffy cat always looking for a warm place to hide.
Leidi is an open minded person, easy to talk to, always willing to help you out. She's a busy person, investing a lot of time in social and sustainable projects in the city, which creates a good athmosphere in the house. If you're looking for a nice, comfortable place with a warm and helpful person, you're at the right adress.
Thank's for the house and home :-)
Leidi was really kind to accept or last minute hosting request!
She seems like great person (we wish we could have stayed longer to know her better) and we enjoyed sleeping at her place. Is calm, with personality and provides with everything you need to visit such a lovely city.
The center is very close by foot.
The couch where we slept it wasn't the most comfortable but it was okay for a night!
If you're stopping at Den Bosch, I would definitely recommend Leidi's place!
I stayed for one night at Leidi's place in Den Bosch. I was welcomed by her friend who was very nice and friendly, explained where everything is and answered any question with patience and care.Leidi's place is very pleasant to be in, a quiet place which was great for me, and has a beautiful garden. Leidi is a very nice and welcoming person, and has an answer to every need or request. the room was pretty, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back.
Ik heb een nachtje heerlijk geslapen bij Leidi. Vriendelijke ontvangst, erg makkelijk en gastvrij. Een absolute aanrader.
