Hummingbird Chateau is located in the heart of tranquil Unity Village, just minutes from both Kansas City, Missouri, and Lee’s Summit—though you’ll feel miles away at this scenic getaway. A two-story, English Cotswold-style home, it has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and can comfortably sleep 12-14 people. It’s perfect for large families, reunions, retreats, and other special occasions. Your stay includes access to our state-of-the-art fitness center.

The space
Built in the 1920s and newly renovated, Hummingbird Chateau is beautifully adorned with a fully equipped kitchen, generous living area with an electric fireplace, two spacious patios, and a gas firepit, all overlooking the beautiful grounds and golf course. The home has one luxurious king-size bed on the main floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with two queen-size beds in each and a third bedroom with one queen bed and a pull-out sofa. There are Smart TVs in each bedroom and the living room. The house has all the essentials, including plenty of fine linens and towels, a hair dryer in every bathroom, iron with ironing board, Keurig coffee maker, kitchen cookware and utensils, toiletries and soaps, air-conditioning, premium cable, 24/7 high-speed internet access with Wi-Fi, and more.

Guest access
Check in at the Unity Village Hotel and Conference Center front desk to sign paperwork and receive access instructions. The Airbnb has keypad door access. We are committed to delivering exceptional service, impeccable cleanliness, and all the amenities of home. They will be available to answer questions or provide recommendations throughout your stay. Unity Village provides 24/7 security on campus.
The main entrance to Unity Village is blocked off at 10pm for security purposes and the Colbern Road entrance is open 24/7 with a security check point starting at 10pm.
