1 room apartment, 30 square meters, with separate kitchen and bathroom.
My apartment's is near Josephsplatz and very close to the area Schwabing and the university. The district is quite versatile with its various theaters, museums, two universities, 2nd hand shops, countless restaurants, cafes and shops which makes it one of the most desirable places to live for locals.
The Kitchen has everything you need incl toaster, and a smoothie machine, dishes, pots/pans, fridge etc. Bathroom incl bath tub/shower, hair dryer etc. Towels are made available.
WLAN is available.
The flat is newly renovated, with nicely painted walls and a new carpet in bordeaux. It pretty much looks like a hotel room.
The furniture is modern & new, mostly white, table, chairs and a clothing rack is available.
Please note, that I don't have a TV.
Instead you might use my little meditation area, if you don't want to skip your practice whilst travelling.
The flat lies pretty close to the following sight/interesting areas:
-Olympic Park, BMW Welt and BMW Museum
- Königsplatz with Glypthothek and Lenbachhaus
- Old/New Pinakothek and Modern Pinakothek, Museum Brandhorst
- English Garden
Distances by metro:
3 stops/5 min to the main train station
I'm looking forward to welcome you at my place.

Nice apartment at a centrally located area. Easy subway access. Kristina made everything easy and hazel free. I would definitely recommend her apt. For a relaxed and quiet time in Munich!
Kristina's apartment was in an excellent location, very convenient to the Munich transit system. Apartment was just as advertised, very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water for showers. Lack of WiFi was a real inconvenience. We never met Kristina but she made arrangements for us to pick-up the key to check ourselves in and out.
We would have given this apartment a 4 star rating except for one issue. In January 2013, we contracted and paid in full for our 2 night stay in September 2013. Unexpectedly, in late July, we received a message from Kristina increasing our nightly rate by 38%. We were, of course, free to decline her new rate by cancelling the booking. However, since we were arriving in Munich during Oktoberfest, we really didn't have much choice. All Munich accommodation had long since been completely booked.
We felt that Kristina took unfair advantage of the situation and were surprised to learn from Airbnb that she was free to do so without any repercussions. Hopefully this was only a one-time occurrence, part of the general visitor gouging that goes on during Oktoberfest. Be advised though that this host might not honour her initial contracted price. Despite the fact it was a nice apartment we would not re-book with Kristina.
I'm very happy Cindy enjoyed the stay in the appartment itself.
Still I'm feeling to comment on a few statements made avove:
1) The price adjustment was due to a renovation of bathroom facilities shortly before arrival, not because of Oktoberfest.
2) I informed Cindy 8 weeks ahead of arrival about the price increase. At that time there were still more than 650 other options available.
3) She accepted the change and in case she wouldn't have, I and AirBnB would have helped finding another place to stay. Thats the normal procedure.
4) The normal price for one night is 60/65 Euros. The Octoberfest Rate usually is 160 Euros per night. Which is in both cases average for the kind of flat I'm offering. Cindy payed 35% less than that.
5) Yes, I don't have Wifi in my appartment, accacetly as describe in the offer.
Kristina's place was just as it was described -- comfortable, with a real bed, quiet, nice kitchen, clean and uncluttered. It is convenient to the subway and within walking distance of the Zentrum. We didn't meet Kristina personally, but her arrangements for key exchange, etc. were clear and helpful. The bicycle she initially offered for our use turned out to be unavailable during our stay, which was a little disappointing, but she left a bottle of Sekt as compensation for what this unforeseeable change. This was a very nice gesture. Overall, we were very satisfied -- her price was very fair and we couldn't have asked for a better location.

This is a good place to stay...convenient to public transportation and in a quiet neighborhood. Kristina was exceptionally easy to communicate with, and she gave excellent directions to get to her apartment. I wish the apartment had wifi, but otherwise, it was great.
Kristina's place was an oasis during our very brief and very hectic visit to Munich. My husband and I spent just a few days in Munich on our way to Saxony, and naturally, we tried to pack as much into our visit as possible. After a busy day of sightseeing and the bustle of activities, it was very nice to come home to a very tranquil and serene place. The apartment was indeed centrally located, with many cafes, restaurants, sights, et cetera within walking distance. The subway (only about 200m from the apartment) is also a very convenient way to get around Munich.
As a host, Kristina was readily available (even though she herself was out of town during our visit) via email or phone call, to address our questions and concerns. We never had a problem.
I am very happy to have found this apartment and would definitely recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting Munich.
