Nice place in a great part of Rome. the appartment was fine for us (one familie, 4 adults).
It was very warm in the apparment when we arrived with no AC. But the next day the AC was fixed! That was great!
We have had a nice time!
The service right from the start was excellent. We opted for a transfer from the airport to the apartment and were greeted warmly and given thorough tour. The apartment itself is in a great part of trastevere, right in the heart of it and about a 25 min walk to St. Peter's. It is kitted out with everything we needed, although doesn't have a cubicle shower, rather handheld nozzles over the bath, which are perfectly fine. It comfortably slept our family of 6, it was very clean and we would defiantly recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in Rome. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars literally right on your doorstep. We were thankful for what must be triple glazing as we didn't hear any noise from the lanes at night.
Lorenzo was a fantastic host, very patient, even when we had some logistical difficulty meeting up with him at the scheduled time. The apartment is truly unique. First of all, the interior has been impeccably redesigned to maximize on space and create an extremely peaceful and relaxing environment. This was important because the home is located on a very lively street, which is fantastic, except if you want to get to sleep at a decent hour! The home was VERY quiet (and air conditioned), so one could enjoy all the nightlife and yet still retreat to peace and quiet when needed. The neighborhood is absolutely fabulous! Within a 30 minute walk to major sites (St. Peter's, The Colosseum), and even closer to many others. There are tons of restaurants, shops and bars right outside your door, and the streets are very narrow and largely pedestrian. We couldn't have chosen a better location. The home is probably best suited to younger guests, given the uniqueness of the design -- there are steps all over, not too many, but in unexpected places, which could throw off older guests-- but we LOVED it. If you want a truly unique living experience in one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Rome, this is the pace for you.
Great location! The apartment was as described and in great condition. There is plenty of shopping and dining as soon as you walk out the door! The staff that let us in and gave us the tour of the home and was most helpful. We would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Rome.
We loved the location of this apartment. So close to wonderful authentic Italy food and handy to mini marts and amazing coffee places. It was so close to restaurants that you are actually right above them. Great atmosphere and reasonably handy to most of the sightseeing. Taxi stand right at end of street. Host great at communicating straight away if any issues. Definitely would stay here again if come back to Rome.
Great apartment, efficient and reliable check in, very responsive to queries. Excellent location! Would recommend and happily use again.
Although we never met Lorenzo, we found that it was a fantastic apartment with a nice design, two floors and a charming terrace! Nice area, very popular, full of bars and going out opportunities and that’s all we wanted. We really enjoyed our time there.
2 remarks however:
- Check out time (10.30 in the morning) is so straight that on our leaving day which happened to be a Sunday, a cleaning boy rang on the door at 10.30 exactly. Even though we were on leaving, we all felt like a strange pressure at 10.29 and 60 seconds…
A little extra: for leaving your luggage in a storage room at Lorenzo’s place, count with 4€/luggage….
- One day, after leaving the apartment at 9 p.m. and returning late night, we found the sofa upside down as if there had been a robbery. More than frightened, we immediately called and had different people on the phone, who all work for Lorenzo. One of them said that it might have been a technician who makes regular checkups in the apartments… (At night... Without calling us?)
Finally, another person called to say there has been water leaking in the apartment. Strange as we had double checked all taps before leaving as one was a little strange.
All in all, we were happy about our staying.
