Peace and quiet

Located on a quiet dead end street and surrounded by nature. Walking distance to El Gallito beach and only 1.5 miles from the airport. Cute and cozy cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor space with Jacuzzi, covered patio with BBQ grill and washer and dryer. Wifi and TV with streaming channels. Bedrooms each with AC and ceiling fans.
The space
This house is cozy and has everything you should need. The kitchen is small but fully equipped and the refrigerator is full sized.
Each bedroom has its own air conditioner.
The number of allowed guests (6) is based on double occupancy of rooms. The house is best suited for 2 or 3 couples, or a small family with older children.
The property is bordered by a ravine to the rear, and jungle on 3 sides. Sit on the patio or in the jacuzzi at night and relax to the singing of coqui frogs and night birds.
There is no air conditioner in the living room, but there is a powerful ceiling fan. It is not allowed to use the bedroom AC units to cool the whole house. The living room typically stays pretty cool with the fan and the high ceilings, and the windows provide good ventilation.
The area is safe and quiet, and has easy access to the main town of Isabel Segunda, and is only 10 to 15 minutes from Esperanza.
Other things to note
You can travel to Vieques by ferry from the town of Ceiba (purchase tickets online) or by plane from San Juan or Ceiba. Space is limited, it is advised to buy your tickets well in advance.
You will need a vehicle to get around Vieques for the best experience. You can rent a Jeep or Bronco (recommended) or a golf cart or scooter. Golf carts are fun but are very slow and may have trouble accessing some of the more remote beaches which are down dirt roads. Rental vehicles are very limited and they run out frequently during high season. Book your vehicle well in advance to make sure you get one! The cargo ferry is for residents only, you can't bring a vehicle from the mainland.
We are not responsible for guests who have trouble getting to Vieques or getting a vehicle on arrival. Please plan your trip well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Where you’ll be
Vieques, Puerto Rico
Located on a side street off Road 200, across from the former W Resort. Only 1.5 miles from the airport and walking distance to Playa El Gallito (aka Gringo beach). Its a dead end street and there's only a few houses nearby. We have a neighbor on one side only. There is only jungle to the other 3 sides, so it is very private. The street is quiet and horses roam by occasionally. At night its super peaceful with the sound of frogs and night birds from the jungle.

My name is Kelda and I am originally from the Dallas, Texas area. I studied animal production and equine science in college and I worked on horse farms and saddle shops for several years. I decided to trade the farm life for island life and I moved to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico in 2010. I started out as a horseback riding tour guide, and then began managing vacation rentals for a friend. I am now a licensed real estate agent for F. L. Realty in Aguadilla. Our main property is Campomar Villas, which we have been working on improving for the last few years. I also manage a few other nearby AirBnB properties for my real estate clients.
Being an AirBnB host has been a great experience and I have gotten to meet people from all over the country and even the world. I love this area and it makes me happy to see my guests enjoying and appreciating it as I do.
I love the laid back lifestyle, the friendly people, and especially the wide variety of gorgeous beaches in this area.
In my free time I like being outdoors, gardening, scuba diving, riding horses on the beach, and my favorite activity- just hanging out on the beach with my friends and my dog.
