The space
🌲 A Birdwatcher’s Paradise in Broken Bow
Tucked away near the edge of the McCurtain County Wilderness Area — a 19,000-acre protected haven in the Ouachita Mountains — our cozy cabin offers a front-row seat to nature’s most peaceful performance. This untouched forest is home to the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker and dozens of other native and migratory species, making it one of Oklahoma’s most biodiverse birding hotspots.

Start your morning on the balcony with a fresh pour and the sounds of songbirds all around. With quiet surroundings, shaded seating, and treetop views, it’s the perfect place to unplug and observe. BYOB (bring your own binoculars) and keep an eye out for woodpeckers, nuthatches, warblers, and more — all from the comfort of your patio perch. Whether you're a seasoned birder or simply craving stillness, this cabin invites you to slow down, listen in, and reconnect with the wild.

Our cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults, with a maximum of 10 total guests including children, to keep the space cozy and enjoyable for everyone 😊
