Everything went smoothly and Lisa was kind enough to pick me up from the bus stop. The location is great for Uptown Waterloo and Perimeter Institute and the place itself was beautifully set up. Futon had a feather bed on top and was very comfortable. Gong works :) Quiet neighbourhood. Good communication with Lisa by text.
Lisa was great and efficient. Very straight forward. Place was very clean. Perfect for my purposes. Was there three days and just worked at the desk. Nice and quiet, good wifi.
Location was great. 2 blocks from the main drag in Waterloo. Waterloo surprisingly cool. Good food choices, great beer selections at bars.
Had a lovely stay at Lisa's Asian-style rest spot.
The place was spacious and clean, and I really liked the area the general area it was located in Waterloo.
Also, Lisa was a super awesome host, picking me up and giving me some general directions to find the place I wanted to see. Would definitely recommend!
I stayed at Lisa's apartment for 5 nights. Lisa was so nice to give me a ride to the apartment and show me around town (this was my first visit to Kitchener/Waterloo). During my stay we communicated through text msgs and she was very responsive and helpful.
The place was just as seen in the photos: tasteful, relaxing and very clean. The location is unbeatable: walking distance to the best cafes/restaurants in town.
My only comment is that the bldg's acoustic insulation is a bit poor - but then this is typical of wood-frame bldgs. I sleep very lightly and couldn't fall sleep b/c of the noise from upstairs. She contacted the neighbor upstairs as soon as I informed her and soon things were back to great!
We found our room just as described. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We did not get to meet Lisa as she was called out of town. However, we were still able to communicate with her by text and phone and everything we needed was available.
We did have one unfortunate incident that unexpectedly left our belongings vulnerable while we were out, but we expect that this was atypical. Other reviews assure me that it is. Minus the incident, we would recommend this listing.

My favourite quote: “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when one contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.” —Albert Einstein
