About this listing
My place is close to the beach and rivers. (Gisborne is a small town that few venture to as it is a little out of the way.) However if you like to swim, surf, fish and enjoy the outdoors away from big city lights here's your destination. A shower in bathroom with kitchen at your disposal. A big backyard for relaxing outdoors with your favourite beverage. Price is for 2 guests.
Wineries galore here...chardonnay capital of the world.
Cafes in beautiful settings
Beautiful picture postcard scenery
Airport/bus depot 5 minutes by car.
You will be staying in my family home which was build probably 80 years ago. The demographics of my quiet street have changed over the decades.
We had a great time staying with dawn. The house is a bit on the small side so there was a lot of interaction with dawn. Dawn was very accommodating . She picked us up at the bus station and also dropped us off.
Little, old house, a bit overpriced for what it is. You have a small, dusty room with an old bed. For the shared toilet you need to go thru the whole house. There are a lot of spiderwebs and spiders too. Dawn is a nice host and we had a good time sitting in her big garden in the backyard.
Very helpful, even drive us around and showed us the best place for sunrise. Definitely recommend!
