Interaction with Guests
The house and apartment have a keyless entry with codes that I change after every guest checks out. Upon your arrival, I will either meet you in person or will provide you with the door codes on the day of your arrival. You may check in anytime you like, after 6pm. Once you arrive we are available via text messaging 24/7 to help out with tips on SF or answer any questions on the apartment.
Note that on occasion (generally for two to three hours on a weekday), I will be tending to the garden and will enter through the back gate (not entering the apartment). Your privacy is respected.
We offer these ad hoc services for an additional fee: door-to-door service from/to SFO Airport, personal shopping and delivery, babysitting, meal preparation, massage, and acupuncture. Have another need? Please ask!
I am happy to help in any way I can to make your experience more enjoyable and memorable.
The apartment is located just half a block away from Cole Street, where you can find all your conveniences -- many restaurants (including cafes, breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner), bars, bakery, wine/deli/cheese store, fabulous organic and homemade ice cream bar, grocery store, wine/liquor store, video store, natural pharmacy, postal shop, gift shops, salons, beauty store, cleaners, gym, auto mechanic and more.
North of the apartment, about two blocks is the Upper Haight. Haight-Ashbury needs no introduction. It provided the backdrop for the 1960's Hippie movement and Summer of Love. Today, the area still maintains its bohemian ambiance and remains a thriving center of independent local businesses. It is home to a number of independent restaurants and bars, as well as clothing boutiques, booksellers, head shops and record stores including Amoeba Music. The cohabitation between throw-backs to the Fifties lounge scene, organic and spiritual New Age ambiance of the Sixties, punk-rock politics and computer culture is one of the neighborhood's most interesting and endearing aspects socially and artistically. The neighborhood is home to many beautifully restored "Painted Lady" Victorian houses, as well as shops and restaurants galore.
An entrance to Golden Gate Park is a few blocks away. Or, take the N-Judah train west, less than a mile away to 9th & Irving. From there you can walk five minutes to the Academy of Sciences, De Young Museum or the Japanese Tea Garden.

If we all made our hearts a little larger the world would be much smaller...
I love to connect. It's in my blood, in all of our blood really. The first 13-months after University were spent backpacking around the world. I had dreamed of that trip since I was a little girl. I feel most alive when I am fully immersing into my environment, experiencing new places, colors, smells, tastes, cultures, rituals, and customs.
Now, being the delighted mother to a four-year-old angel-boy, I am not such the buzzing bumblebee that I once was. My darling has me somewhat anchored to our beautiful City by the Bay. These days, I get to enjoy welcoming people from around the globe into both our hearts and our home, which is a lovely garden sanctuary smack dab in stunning San Francisco. Quite magically, the world is coming to us! Over the past two years I have grown into an experienced and devoted Airbnb host.
I trust that you will enjoy your stay immensely and will do my very best to make it ever so special and memorable. I'm completely dedicated to 5 star stays and welcome your feedback at any time.
Welcome! Come belong with us.
