Ashvem beach: 15 minutes drive - The beach at Ashvem is fine white sand back dropped by tall palm and pine trees, It offers cozy beach shacks and great restaurants. Currently the most popular places in Ashvem are the French restaurant ‘La Plage’, ‘Marbella beach club’ & ‘Club fresh’ all highly recommended to visit.
Mandrem beach: 20 minutes drive – The quietest and most un spoilt beach in north Goa, a perfect place to totally unwind and enjoy the peace and serenity around.

A short walk past the beautiful beach brings you to the fresh salt water lake. If your feeling adventurous there is a nice hiking trail into the jungle behind the lake which I recommend.
Vagator beach: 15 mins drive south - Vagator Beach is split into two main beaches by a seaside headland which holds the car park and lots of stalls selling trinkets, clothes, soft drinks and snacks. As you face the sea, on your right is Big Vagator and your left is Little Vagator Beach. There are lots of beach shacks, bars and restaurants in the area attracting a partying crowd who enjoy dance and trance.
Anguna beach: 20 minutes drive south – A hippy hangout with lots of beach shacks and bars playing loud music day and night. A good beach to visit on a Wednesday when the Flea Market is on.

I was born and raised in the UK and moved to Goa in 2008. I came back to India to progress on My spiritual journey and to fulfill My dream of opening a yoga retreat. That's how Riverside Shakti retreat in Siolim was created.
I now travel extensively so my stunning Retreat comes up for rent through out the year.
I use my place to host yoga retreats as well as let it out as a whole for holiday rentals or others that may want to hosts there own retreat. It suitable for the peaceful chilled type, not a place to have rocking parties.. Riverside retreat promises to be a truly blissful experience for anyone that stays.
I also own Siolim sorova apartments which is a new development, a very well maintained society only 5 minutes walk from the chapora river and Siolim bridge. Great location to head north or south of Goa...kitted out with Fab India furniture, 2bk
