This rental is all about location. You are within walking distance to all major restaurants, attractions, and 2 blocks from the open air market. If you're looking for a condo central to the city, this is it.
This unit is all about location. This 650 sf apartment is 2 blocks from the Market right on East Bay Street, in the heart of Downtown Charleston's historic district and french quarter. Once you're here you'll never need to get in a car unless you're traveling 15 minutes to ANY beach.
This unit comes with a large master bedroom (queen bed), a couch which sleeps one (maybe 2), one full bathroom, full kitchen, 2 off-street parking spaces, free wifi, cable TV, laundry on site, a pool, and walking distance to everything that matters.
One block away from a wonderful grocery store, 3 blocks from historic King Street Shopping District, 3 blocks from East bay's wonderful restaurant and bars, 1/2 a block from the Carriage Tour Ride headquarters and 2 blocks from Market Street. Does it get any better?
Hotels in this district will run $350 - $600 a night and still can't compare to these amenities AND 2 free parking spots with an outdoor private pool (open seasonally).
Bring your own sheets or choose from a stack of freshly laundered ones. Everything else is provided to you.
Enjoy complimentary wifi during your stay.
No smoking. Left it like you found it and treat it as if it were your own. Oh, and only great attitudes allowed who love historic Charleston!
I was lucky enough to extend my stay and enjoy Charleston for several weeks. This lovely condo is perfectly located for that. Close to the historic houses, shopping and great restaurants, as well as the Market. Justin and Shauna are the perfect hosts. Friendly and quick responses to all questions. The condo is very comfortable. Pictures are accurate. It was an extremely pleasant stay.
Justin and Shauna are very possibly the best hosts ever. They went to great lengths to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed.
The unit is very nice, the location is great and the photos are accurate . I didn't realize how great the location really is until I actually walked the area and realized that the Market really is only two blocks away and the legendary FIG is about three blocks away, not to mention all the great new-to-me restaurants I keep finding. It's a great place from which to explore Charleston.
Good neighborhood, nice condo, and it's great that the place comes with a parking spot. We felt at home here, and would definitely come back again.
We just spent Christmas in Charleston and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Justin and Shauna ' s place was great. Location was top priority for us since we love exploring cities on foot. This place could not have been better for that. Parking was an added benefit too. We did have a small problem with the t.v.'s not working when we arrived but Shaun was quite helpful with face time on our iPhone. He was able to solve the problem - even available on Christmas Eve. The apartment was clean and just what we expected. The futon in the living room needs to be updated. We were 3 adults and although it folded out to full size, the comfort was not there. Charleston is a wonderful city and Justin and Shauna's place is an ideal spot if location is important to you too.
Thanks so much for hosting this Christmas week. Justin and Shauna were excellent hosts -- we didn't meet them, but got text updates and kind notes about the amenities of the city. Their place is two blocks from the Customs House and Market Street, close enough to the tourist bustle and proximate to lovely, out of the way places like Cru (just around the corner, which I'd recommend for lunch) and Bayou Biergarten (six blocks away, with amazing beer). We travel to Charleston frequently and are SC natives; it's the highest praise to say that we suspect we'll stay with Justin and Shauna again.
This is my first AirBnB experience.
Pros: location was perfect, close to Market Street and shops. Apt was clean. Felt very secure due to needing keys and a door code. Cute little books, movies, and even Nintendo throughout the apt. Communication with Justin was excellent-he was quick to respond and very helpful! The area was quiet.
Cons: the picture on the profile is NOT the actual location, but maybe I didn't see the fine print that indicates that it wasn't supposed to be. Outside of the building was in poor condition which would have been ok if the apt was nice, but it wasn't. Apt was not up to my standards. Very musty smelling which improved throughout the day, but maybe I got used to it. I had to empty a dehumididier daily (never heard of having a To Do list). Couch was uncomfortable to sleep on, but this is not an issue if only one person is staying or it's a couple. The heat worked very well but the fan turned on every 5 minutes and was loud which is not helpful when sleeping. The bedroom windows were off track which let some cool air in, but again the heat worked well.
I would use AirBnB again, but will be more skeptical searching for places next time.
The apartment was clean and the same as depicted on the site. Location was awesome. Right next to the Market and carriage tours. We walked almost everywhere we went. Some Super Nintendo and N64 games were a good touch on a rainy day. We would definitely stay there again.

From Charleston, SC. In love with the water, boating, offshore fishing and an advocate for ocean creatures. Love to travel and experience unique places throughout the world, especially if they float!
