One block away from a wonderful grocery store, 3 blocks from historic King Street Shopping District, 3 blocks from East bay's wonderful restaurant and bars, 1/2 a block from the Carriage Tour Ride headquarters and 2 blocks from Market Street. Does it get any better?

Hotels in this district will run $350 - $600 a night and still can't compare to these amenities AND 2 free parking spots with an outdoor private pool!

  • Fantastic Location! It's a short walk to the grocery store, cruise ships, shops, carriage tours, and best restaurants. Check-in and out was easy and we had everything we needed and then some.

  • The location of this apartment was excellent. We loved being able to walk everywhere. We also loved being so close to an excellent 24hr grocery store, Harris Teeter.

    We found several excellent meals within walking distance, including FIG, Jestine's Kitchen (excellent fried chicken), Monza, and Trattoria Lucca ( this is the only restaurant we drove to).

    Others have noted that this wasn't a great apartment, but we found it perfectly acceptable. For the cost compared to hotels in the area you can't do better. Besides we didn't spend much time in the apartment as the whole point of going to Charleston was to see the city.

    The apartment did have a strange assortment of furniture but that was part of the charm.

  • Location was great, the place had plenty of space and was clean and inviting. Appreciated the free wifi and also Justin's quick response time when us airbnb newbs didn't know instructions to get into the apartment were in the itinerary.All in all a really good experience and would probably use again in Charleston.

    Also, Charleston rocks.

  • We had a lovely stay at Justin's apartment in Charleston. Justin was easy to communicate with and very helpful. He even went out of his way to get us some things the apartment was running low on and surprised us with some bottles of wine! The apartment is in a perfect location for exploring the city - very close to the markets, Meeting St, King St, and a lovely 24hr supermarket. It is clean, spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend Justin's place and would definitely stay there again!

  • What a beautiful apartment, and it is in an excellent location. My stay at Justin and Shauna's apartment could not have been nicer. It's easy to be envious of all the beautiful homes and hotels in Charleston, but not when staying at Justin and Shauna's.

  • As a former Charleston resident, I was a little hesitant to stay in a condo/apt building that I'd never heard of, (or seen for that matter.) However, after using (website hidden) maps to see the exact location, I thought I'd give it a whirl. The location is fantastic! Virtually every site (bar, restaurant, tourist sites, market, etc.,) is walkable from the location, and the apt is reasonable, (comparatively speaking to some dt/french quarter hotel prices.) However, the apt itself is dated and in dire need of an update/makeover; two of the drawers literally fell off when I tried to open them, and a floor board popped up when I walked across the living room. The furnishings are kinda strange (art-deco-ish and random,) but the bed was comfortable and the apt itself was clean, minus the wear and tear. The apt is pretty spacious but the leather couch/futon in the living room is so incredibly uncomfortable. that we went out and bought an air mattress to accommodate my mother. I'd definitely urge the owners to spend a couple dollars and get a legit futon. All in all it was relatively pleasant and a good option if you're on a budget. FYI- bring extra bath towels!

  • Downtown Charleston is fairly walkable but it helped to be located right downtown at Justin & Shauna's apt. If you are staying for only a couple nights you have to stay here. Very reasonable pricing compared to hotels, quiet building and close to great restaurants and bars. My two friends and I had a great time and the place was clean and easy to check in and out!
