About This Listing
Come live in a classic Copenhagen city-apartment. It has high ceilings and an en suite living room + one bed room. It comes with a small toilet, and shower in the kitchen - both small and old (- so expect no luxury), but has a lot of charm, and is a great place for an evening in, with a good book or a dvd.
The apartment is located close to the metro station, which means you have 25 min to the airport and 10 min to the city centre and 10 min to the beach.
On foot it takes around 10 min to walk to Christianshavns Vold, where you can enjoy nature and take a strole around Christiania and have a cup of coffee in one of the nice cafés in Christianshavn.
You will be living right next to Amagerbrogade so there will be plenty of opportunity to shop for groceries and there are a lot of great take away places close by. Because of the location you can excpect some noise from traffic etc - but in general it is pretty quiet at night.
Kitchen is equiped with two induction plates and a smaller oven + microwave. you are also welcome to use the washing machine, the fridge and the wifi, towels and sheets. And of course I will provide answers you may have about sights and transportation :)
Look forward to meeting you!
Sarah was very attentive and kindly responded to all our questions before and after arrival. The apartment is in a nice location, close to bus stop and metro station, Christiania within walking distance. Very easy to reach from airport. The apartment is nicely decorated, indeed cosy, makes you feel at home. The toilet is a little small and shower is in kitchen as described, but no issues for us. Within walking distance a good pizza place (Vagabondos Pizza Bar), bakery, coffeeshop, currency exchange and supermarkets. The house was clean and tidy, which is a big plus, and Sarah left some towels for us. Another big plus was the nice stereo system. We could hook up phones and play music. All in all, very positive experience.
We really enjoyed Sarah's apartment. It's a cosy place with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed, things I appreciate a lot when I stay somewhere for a week. She left it nice and tidy for us and left clear instructions on the kitchen table at our arrival. The shower in the kitchen and wobbly toilet were a bit awkward, but endearing at the same time and not a problem at all.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the Amagerbrogade area, but as Sarah describes, the airport, the city centre and other neighbourhoods are only a short bus or train ride away. It also was convenient to have so many supermarkets and take out places on just a minute's walk.
It was lovely exploring Copenhagen from Sarah's home.
Sarah's apartment was exactly as described: close to the center and the metro station, the toilet was 'no luxury' (again: as described by the host herself) but the rest of the house was worth the (really little) discomfort!
Sarah was always available to answer every question, and a very kind host.
I would suggest this place to every couple who wants to visit Copenhagen whilst feeling at home.
The appartment of Sarah is very nice . We find all we need inside. The neighborhood is pleasant with a lot of stores and cafés, near the metro station. Thanks for this great experience.
