Come live in a classic Copenhagen city-apartment. It has high ceilings and an en suite living room + one bed room. It comes with a small toilet, and shower in the kitchen - both small and old (- so expect no luxury), but has a lot of charm, and is a great place for an evening in, with a good book or a dvd.
The apartment is located close to the metro station, which means you have 25 min to the airport and 10 min to the city centre and 10 min to the beach.
On foot it takes around 10 min to walk to Christianshavns Vold, where you can enjoy nature and take a strole around Christiania and have a cup of coffee in one of the nice cafés in Christianshavn.
You will be living right next to Amagerbrogade so there will be plenty of opportunity to shop for groceries and there are a lot of great take away places close by. Because of the location you can excpect some noise from traffic etc - but in general it is pretty quiet at night.
Kitchen is equiped with two induction plates and a smaller oven + microwave. you are also welcome to use the washing machine, the fridge and the wifi, towels and sheets. And of course I will provide answers you may have about sights and transportation :)
Look forward to meeting you!
We really enjoyed Sarah's apartment. It's a cosy place with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed, things I appreciate a lot when I stay somewhere for a week. She left it nice and tidy for us and left clear instructions on the kitchen table at our arrival. The shower in the kitchen and wobbly toilet were a bit awkward, but endearing at the same time and not a problem at all.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the Amagerbrogade area, but as Sarah describes, the airport, the city centre and other neighbourhoods are only a short bus or train ride away. It also was convenient to have so many supermarkets and take out places on just a minute's walk.
It was lovely exploring Copenhagen from Sarah's home.
Sarah's apartment was exactly as described: close to the center and the metro station, the toilet was 'no luxury' (again: as described by the host herself) but the rest of the house was worth the (really little) discomfort!
Sarah was always available to answer every question, and a very kind host.
I would suggest this place to every couple who wants to visit Copenhagen whilst feeling at home.
The appartment of Sarah is very nice . We find all we need inside. The neighborhood is pleasant with a lot of stores and cafés, near the metro station. Thanks for this great experience.
Our Stay at Sarahs apartment was very nice. We arrived late, but it was no problem. The Flat is nice and cosy as described and well situated. We had a very good time and Sarah was very helpful.
We loved our trip to Copenhagen! Sarah, our host was very helpful, giving us loads of advice of where to eat, drink, go out etc. We took her advice and weren't disappointed.
Any questions we had before arrival were responded to promptly. She was also flexible with our arrival time and we were able to pick up the key from the cafe next door.
The apartment is clean and comfortable with nice high ceilings and large windows. We felt right at home chilling in the lounge.
Getting there from the airport was really easy and it's a pleasant 25min or so walk to the centre of town or you can go more quickly on the metro (the stop is just up the road).
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Sarah's apartment was lovely and she was a perfect host- providing us with all the information, details and contact we needed... Plus fresh towels, which we really appreciated as had forgotten ours!
We found the accommodation to be exactly as she described it: with the bathroom in the kitchen it's not luxury, but everything is clean, comfortable and in very good taste.
It's in a good spot: easy to get to from the airport, in a quiet area, but still just a bike ride away from the centre and other cool neighbourhoods.
We really enjoyed our time and would happily & heartily recommend Sarah's apartment.
Hi, I'm Sarah (33)!
I live in Copenhagen and work as a 10th grade teacher.
I sing and write songs, and I plan to spend this summer driving around the US east coast. I hope to meet some incredible and unforgettable people and I hope to be breathtaken by nature and hopefully inspired to write some new material during my 6 week journey.
I am easy going and non-smoking.
I really appreciate that you people will open up your homes for someone like me, and I'll be both considerate and respectfull when staying with you!
Look forward to meeting you!
