Cosy apartment close to city centre

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Kurlandsgade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2300, Denmark

The Space

Come live in a classic Copenhagen city-apartment. It has high ceilings and an en suite living room + one bed room. It comes with a small toilet, and shower in the kitchen - so it is not all that luxurious, but has a lot of charm, and is a great place for an evening in, with a good book or a dvd.

The apartment is located close to the metro station, which means you have 25 min to the airport and 10 min to the city centre and 10 min to the beach.
On foot it takes around 10 min to walk to Christianshavns Vold, where you can enjoy nature and take a strole around Christiania and have a cup of coffee in one of the nice cafés in Christianshavn.

You will be living right next to Amagerbrogade so there will be plenty of opportunity to shop for groceries and there are a lot of great take away places close by. Because of the location you can excpect some noise from traffic etc - but in general it is pretty quiet at night.

Kitchen is equiped with two induction plates and a smaller oven + microwave. you are also welcome to use the washing machine, the fridge and the wifi, towels and sheets. And of course I will provide answers you may have about sights and transportation :)

Look forward to meeting you!

  • Our stay at this apartment was very nice, apartment is great and clean, close to metro connections and to Christianshavn.
Therefore we higly recommend you staying at Sarah's place! :)

  • Sarah's flat is lovely - very comfortable, warm and well-furnished for cooking, watching DVDs or just chilling out in between sightseeing! It's well-located, too! The metro station is less than 5 minutes away, there's a bus stop just outside, the great Café Pelikan just round the corner, choice of Dagen Netto or Aldi supermarkets and other little cafés and a nearby bakery.

It took us about 30 minutes to walk to Christiansborg from the flat, or 10 minutes on the bus. Would definitely stay again if we visit Copenhagen in the future!

  • We were very happy during our stay in Copenhagen thanks to Sarah. The apartment is very well located, we had the metro just at side. The apartment is charming and cozy, is located in a quiet area but with all the services, you have bars, restaurants, shops and even a nearby shopping center. We could walk to the the city center !!
We enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen and would rent again if we went back the apartment without any doubt.

Sarah thanks for your trust and for sharing your home air bnb ;)

  • We had an excellent stay in Sarah's apartment during our time in Copenhagen. It is very conveniently located and the bus or metro to the city centre both very close. The apartment is quite spacious, the kitchen is well stocked, and the towels and linens were clean. Sarah is a wonderful host: she was diligent and helpful in replying to any questions we had, and is very friendly and patient, even when we had a "foreign moment" of confusion.

I would recommend Sarah's apartment for anyone's stay in Copenhagen, and I would happily stay there again.

  • Sarah was a very nice host who provided us with a lot of information about Copenhagen. Getting the keys was very easy and communication with her was great. The place itself was very spacious and the living room and dining room were pretty nice.
However, the major issue was the shower and toilet. We realized before arriving that the shower was in the kitchen and were prepared, but we didn't realize that both the shower and toilet were old and rusty. Neither was particularly clean. The door to the toilet is directly beside the fridge, and the toilet "closet" is so small that it was hard to fit our legs in with the door closed!! The only sink available was the kitchen sink (for brushing teeth, etc.), which we understand may be common in older apartments in Copenhagen, but nonetheless, the kitchen was quite disorganized and not very clean. We felt pretty uncomfortable there for our 5 day stay, as we weren't really willing to cook in the kitchen (meaning we had to eat out in expensive Copenhagen!).
The bed was also very uncomfortable for 2 people, and incredibly creaky! It made it very hard to sleep as the noise kept waking us up.
Overall, while we understand that Copenhagen is quite expensive, we don't think that a place of this price needs to be so unkempt.

  • Sarah's apartment is exactly as described in the ad. The property s very spacious and very well located. There is a great bakery nearby as well as plenty of shopping. The metro is also no distance at all. Oh, and there's a few ATMs across the street. The shower and toilet situation certainly is a little different, but it was no problem. Most worth mentioning is that Sarah put together a handy guide of information about the area. This proved very helpful during our stay. I would be happy to stay in this property again!

  • Sarah is one of the best host i ever had. Her flat is great and well located! I did not met her personally but she was very friendly and helpful! My trip was for job and she help us to make it easier! She let us breakfast in the fridge and a lot of very good tips for visiting Copenhagen! I would come back to her home in my next trip to Copenhagen. I'm definitvely very happy with my stay there!

il centro pero' si raggiunge facilmente anche con una passeggiata
la casa e' accogliente ma un po' sacrificato il bagno

About
Hi, I'm Sarah (33)! I live in Copenhagen and work as a 10th grade teacher. I sing and write songs, and I plan to spend this summer driving around the US east coast. I hope to meet some incredible and unforgettable people and I hope to be breathtaken by nature and hopefully inspired to write some new material during my 6 week journey. I am easy going and non-smoking. I really appreciate that you people will open up your homes for someone like me, and I'll be both considerate and respectfull when staying with you! Look forward to meeting you!
