The fifth floor apartment is very well located half way between the CBD and wonderful Kings Park. It is well and conscientiously appointed and Derek and Leanne have thought of everything including a rucksack to take out a picnic. We had a great three night stay over the Easter vocation and have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation to others.
We were met at the apartment by Leanne who gave us a thorough rundown on everything and also was extremely helpful in telling us of local eateries and places to visit. The apartment was lovely and more than met our expectations. Everything we could possibly have needed (and more) was provided. It was a very quiet area and easily accessible to the city as we did not have a car during our stay.
I would have no hestitation in recommending this as a delightful place to stay.
Leanne and Derek leave essentials ready for guests, e.g. Tea, coffee, milk, fresh bread, preserves etc. The description of the apartment is accurate and the neighbourhood is excellent being just a few minutes' walk from the wonderful Kings Park. There is everything you could need in this cosy apartment and we have just spent our second holiday there. Most importantly there is a laundry on the ground floor with washing machines and a tumble dryer. I always use the outside Hill's Hoist washing lines as everything dries so quickly in the warmth. A most convenient place to stay being just a few minutes' walk into the city shopping area and the Perth Concert Hall, theatre, cinema, etc. Restaurants are plentiful, catering for all cuisines and very good too. Leanne and Derek are most helpful and attentive hosts, always available to help and advise if needed. I just love Perth and hopefully will be back in 2016 to our little "home" at Hillside Gardens which we have grown very fond of. Highly recommend it.
The apartment was immaculate as normal. Fresh new linen and spotless. Location is great short walk to the cbd and easy parking to park up and leave
We were met by Leanne on arrival who had prepared informative notes about transport and about Perth.
We were delighted with the apartment and how well it is supplied, Derek and Leanne had thought of everything. Location is excellent, with very close to public transport.
We had a great stay and highly recommend the apartment.
We loved Leanne and Derek's apartment, it was perfect for us. The location close to city and Kings Park was fantastic. Leanne was a perfect host and we thank her for all the thoughtful extras which made us feel at home. View is fabulous too. We would love to come back soon!
Leanne met us as arranged and was informative about the area. The apartment was as desc and very comfortable with everything we needed. There was an issue with the internet which Leanne sorted immediately. Great location, with plenty of information. Leanne a great host, not on top of you, but always there if needed.

Perth is our home town and we love our city. Leanne works part time as an executive assistant in Subiaco and Derek is a freelance web and graphic designer.
What do we love about Perth? There is a lot of space, great coffee around town, sunset dinners at the beach, BBQ's, fresh local produce (we love to cook), cycling paths along the river and the South West region. The beach is never far and it is just the best place to unwind and relax.
Our first experience with airbnb was in 2011, we stayed at two airbnb host homes in Paris and Berlin and what an experience it was! It is the perfect way to really discover a city and blend in with the locals. We absolutely love to travel and experience new cultures.
We are in our 2nd year as airbnb hosts and it has been an interesting journey of meeting new people and learning along the way. We have hosted many new airbnb users and happy to guide you around this new online community!
We hope to welcome you to Perth real soon!
