It is great to stay in Susan place. The pool is clean and big. Susan is nice and warm to meet. The place is close to the beach and shops, cafe and restaurant.
Only positive comments to leave about the apartment and Susan herself. The space is extremely clean, quiet, in close walking distance to town and even closer to the beach, and has everything needed should you want to prepare meals at home.
Susan was a lovely host - incredibly thoughtful, considerate and helpful.
The only negative was totally out of anyone's control - a cyclone!
Can definitely recommend.
We had an amazing stay at Susan's oasis. She was in perfect communication months before we arrived and ended up meeting us in Cairns to give us the keys. Thus was the perfect set up, as both bedrooms connect to the bathroom. The place was super clean and 3 out of the 4 nights we had the pool to ourselves. The extra touch of fruit and Tim tams was the perfect welcoming gift. It was one of the few places I've stayed that far exceeded above what the pixs show. She provides every thing for you to have a worry free vacation. I would 100% recommend this place to stay.
A clean, spacious two bedroom apartment facing the pool in a nice resort complex . The apartment is five minutes from the beach and a ten minute walk from the main street of Port Douglas. Susan and her husband gave us a much-appreciated mini-tour of the town on arrival. A great pace to stay, and the travel agent in the resort can arrange tours to the reef and rainforest.
Susan and Daryl were amazing hosts! Daryl came to meet us at the airport to make sure we got the keys for the apartment. We were greeted by fruits and Tim Tams when we arrived. The Reef Club has all the amenities we need including a spacious pool with spa, a BBQ and outdoor dining area, and easy access to the beach. The only downside is there is no wifi, but you can access wifi in the main area of town, which is only a 15 minutes walk away. The apartment itself is clean and includes everything we need for a comfortable stay including towels, beach towels, swimming noodles, kitchen utensils etc. We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation. We really enjoyed our trip, especially when the weather turned out to be much better than forecasted. Thank you so much for our stay!
It was a pleasure staying at Susan and Daryl's apartment.
The location is convenient, really close to the centre.
The apartment itself is perfect. It is clean and there is everything you need: linen, towel, kitchen appliances, beach towel and even kids game!
More than anything, the warmth welcoming from our host make us feel at home as soon as we pushed the door. A special mention for the fruits plater and Timtam welcoming set!
We would highly recommend staying at Susan and Daryl's place.
We had a great stay at Susan's apartment. It is located in a quiet resort and only a short walk from the stinger-net protected Four Mile Beach. It is also not far from the main street where all the stores and restaurants are.
Daryl waited patiently for us to arrive from Cairns airport and showed us around the apartment, which was clean and well equipped, with ceiling fans and a/c units in all rooms.
I would definitely recommend it.
I was born in Bendigo, in central Victoria, Australia, where my family owned a winery. Since then I have moved to Port Douglas, with my husband, Daryl, and it is paradise. We enjoy relaxing on Four Mile beach (surely one of the best beaches in Australia) and also we partake in Port's fabulous restaurants and cafes. We also enjoy travelling around the region, especially the Tablelands which is very different to Port and makes for an interesting contrast.
