A very convenient apartment near SOHO!
Sheung wan is a tradition place for travelers to feel the old hong kong. old and new hong kong is combined. Also, its very convenient to many sight seeing and MTR just 6 mins walk!
- 1 MTR stations to Central
- 3 MTR stations to Tsim Sha Shui
- 4 MTR stations to Causeway Bay
- 1 min walk to laundry
- 1 min walk to 7-11 convenient shop & super market
- 6 mins walk to MTR station
- 6 mins walk to Man Mo Temple
- 6 mins walk to Upper Lascar Row
- 11 mins walk to SOHO
- 10 mins walk to Macau Ferry
The hot sight seeing spot like Man Mo Temple, Upper lascar Road (shop for traditional china) are only 6 mins walk. SoHo is only 11 mins walk. SoHo is a place for eating and night clubing. Many western restaurants and place to drink like Lan Kwai Fong. There are also many art gallery nearby which is very famous. If you want to try local food, there are famous congee restaurant, japanese restaurant, and many local restaurant within 10 mins walk. or just downstairs, there are also few restaurants.
and, if you will go to macau, macau ferry is only 10 mins walk too. For my apartment, i think most of the guests also like there are supermarkets, convenient shops, laundry downstairs. and most important, you can enjoy unlimited hot water during bath. since some old building only got few mins of hot water and wait for 15mins for another few mins of hot water. so all your family can enjoy good shower after a day trip. just find a place you love! enjoy the trip in hong kong!
This apartment have two bedroom. 1 double bed in one bedroom for 2 person, 1 double bed and 1 bunk beds in one bedroom for 4 person , and one sofa bed for 2 people in the living room. Town gas water heater installed for unlimited and immediately hot water for your warm shower! (Please note that most apartment in HK installed with electricity water heater which you have to wait 15min for hot water and the hot water only enough for 5-10 minute shower. It's a pity for traveling with a group ;) so, take a note)
In addition, this apartment suitable for longer stay and for a family especially with children.
- cooking utensil
- town gas water heater (unlimited & immediately hot water supply)

MAKE SURE whats app or call me when you land Hong Kong or at least 1 hour before you arrive such that I can prepare well for the key passing to you.
Wait in the specific place, NOT enter the building without me to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings with the property management.
Check Out Time: before 12:00
Late Check out Charge: HKD300 (need to check with the availability)
You can also do the Town check in for your flight, or I can also recommend some places for you to store luggage. Again, NEVER wait your friends in the lobby while checking out.
Keep SILENT, NO TALKING in the corridor. As most of my neighborhood are elderly, they love very very quiet. Thanks so much to respect my neighborhood.
Non-smoke, no pets, no party, keep quiet in the apartment.
Please help to be environmental friendly, switch off the air-con and other electrical appliances when leaving the apartment or not using them.
Thanks for your kind understanding and wish you have a nice trip! ^^
P.S. welcome to ask for more information for traveling around Hong Kong
Overall, the apartment is to its description. The heater is somewhat cryptic, and wifi gets stuck every now and then. Also, you'll be greeted by dried fish smell everytime you walk out of the building. Not much problem for me, but worth mentioning for some.
Irene herself is the most helpful, I quite recommend her as a host.
Good location. Very clean. We only stayed for one night.
Irene is organized with this process and the flat is perfect for staying couple of nights in HK.
Was greeted by the host's mum who speaks mostly Cantonese. Only problem is you need to get a data sim card if not whatsapp communication with the host is going to be quite a hassle. Interior of the apartment is average but I'm outside most of the time so no complains. The only major plus point would be the location. Its a stone throw away from the Macau Ferry Terminal and also 1 stop away from Central.
Irene's apartment was in the perfect location. Sheung Wan is a great location if you want to stay in Hong Kong for a lengthy period of time. It's also super close to the MTR, ferry, tram and bus so finding transportation is not an issue! The area is lovely and away from the hustle and bustle. Everyone is really friendly and the apartment block has the friendliest security men. The house is clearly depicted in the images. It was bigger than most apartment and fit the five of us perfectly! The beds were quite hard but there was extra bedding to fix this. Irene responds immediately and will fix your issues straight away. The only minor issue we had was with the bathroom not being very clean when we arrived. Overall, it was a great and cosy apartment for 5 students and we grew very fond of it and the location! Definitely recommend it!
This is my first time using AirBnB and I am so glad to have chosen Irene's apartment! :)
Pros: 1) The location is very strategic, near to tram and mtr station. It is also very easily accessible from airport, either by airport express train (which comes with free airport shuttle bus service to hong kong station), A11 bus (only cost us 40HKD for each journey) or taxi.
2) The apartment is just nice for my family of six. We understand that rooms in HK are mostly small with limited space. This apartment offers all basics that one needs. At night when we dont feel like sleeping yet, we use the kitchen to cook the local made instant noodles, have couples of beers and chat in the living room. There are extra pillows and blankets provided too.
3) When we first arrived in HK and found that our baggage got delayed, Irene was being very responsive and helpful to assist us. Thank you so much Irene!
4) And about the neighbourhood, awesome! We were truly living the old Hong Kong style in this neighbourhood surrrounded by mostly local people and experiencing the HK living in their way, using the same transportation mode like the locals, eating the choice of food just like the locals.
Cons: The steel-made bedframe in the first bedroom is somehow disturbing as it 's making too much noise when one is just sitting or sleeping on the bed. But not a big problem to us as we got too tired after walking the whole day exploring HK and thus still able to sleep soundly and comfortably.
Overall i would rate it 4/5! You don't get this price booking a hotel to accomodate 6 persons, and yet it comes with a living room and kitchen. Thank you very much to Irene and her sister for being such friendly hosts and making our stay in HK a very memorable experience! :)
Fantastic location, apartment was large by HK standards, fit our party of four easily. Everything we were looking for! Thanks so much Irene!
