We had a great time at Cassandra's place. It was the perfect size with a lot of cute little amenities. Cassandra was SO helpful and flexible with everything. Instructions were detailed and Cassandra had some great suggestions for places to eat in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this cute studio in a fantastic area!
Neighborhood was perfect and location so quiet in a busy city. Everything was as described and as pictured. Cassandra was so nice and more than happy to answer any questions! Great stay!
Casandra helped is find GREAT local spots while keeping taste and style in perspective speedy responses to any inquiry, it was a delightful stay.
My husband and I stayed at the Nautical Studio for 3 nights and thought its location couldn't be better.
We had an early morning flight to SFO, and Cassandra was very kind to let us store our luggage before the actual 3 pm check-in time. This was very much appreciated!
The studio was as described in the listing. It is a unit with a separate entry on the ground floor of a three-story house. The space is on the smaller side, but is perfect for 1 or 2 people (and bigger than most hotels anyway!).
Overall, we have had a pleasant experience, except that there was little sound isolation from the apartment on the second floor. On our second night we were waken up by a party, which lasted deep into the night. So if you are looking for a very quiet place, make sure to bring earplugs;-).
Cassandra was so accommodating and so, so sweet! My boyfriend and I were greeted upon check in by Cassandra and her adorable daughter, Reagan. Cassandra let us put out luggage in the garage before check in, so we could move through the city suitcase free.
The boat house itself was very cute. It's a small little buildout under their apartment, and has access through the back of their garage. It was very easy to get in and out of!
The location could not be better! We were able to walk almost everywhere, and uber rides to nearby bars and food were never more than $5.
The only small thing was that there were ants in the bed, but when we told Cassandra she was so sweet and explained that her neighbors had just sprayed, which was likely the reason for the ants coming over. She also immediately brought us ant traps to place under the bed. Very helpful and considerate!
Lastly, upon checkout we got a flat tire! Cassandra was so understanding and let us keep our luggage in the garage until we figured out the tire situation, and offered to help in any way she could.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the boat house! The entire experience was so pleasant, nix the unfortunate timing of the ant situation.
Lovely family, lovely neighborhood, lovely place!
We cannot say enough good things about our experience with this host/apartment. For starters, it is located in one of the nicest, safest, and most convenient neighborhoods in San Francisco (not to mention on its own private street!). The apartment itself was clean and had access to an amazing private roof terrace with views of the city/bay. Cassandra has mastered the art of hospitality and was constantly surprising us with great recommendations and definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect vacation. Highly recommend staying here!
The “Boat House” was a great little spot for my boyfriend and I. It’s exactly what we needed while we were in San Fran. We had everything we needed in the living space and the location is GREAT! You are close to so many restaurants, cafes, bars, and just a few blocks away from the tourist spots as well. Cassandra was an amazing host. Any questions we had about what to see, what to do, etc. she had answers to everything. She was also very accommodating to our needs. Thanks for a great experience in San Francisco – unforgettable!
Born and raised in San Diego but now call San Francisco home. I work in the events industry and have mastered the art of hospitality! I can't wait to host you in the city that I love!
When I'm not working, you can find my husband and me playing bocce ball in Fort Mason, running along Crissy Field, cheering at Giants games, or entertaining on our roof deck.
