The Space

We look forward to sharing one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the city with you, the Mission!

PLEASE NOTE: We provide parking but we ask $10 per day not included in your booking total. Just tell us if you need parking and we can include it in a special offer to you.
There is only one spot and we have two rooms so please inquire about availability. We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath flat and list 2 rooms on Airbnb.

We are near the Valencia Street corridor and we are a 5 minute walk to foodie heaven (Delfina, Bi-RIte, Arizmendi, Dosa, Tartine, etc) . .

A very short BART ride gets you to other great parts of the city (door to door 10-20 minutes) including the Moscone Center, Union Square, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, North Beach and we are walking distance to Noe Valley, the Castro, and Hayes Valley. Very easy bus or MUNI (train) connections will get you to the Haight/Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, and Fisherman's Wharf in about 30 minutes. However, San Francisco is a small city and the greatest way to appreciate it is on foot!

Our commitment is to provide you:
1. Great Value
2. An immpecibly clean room and house
3. A very central location, easy to access everything you want to see in the city and lots of public transit options
4. The most comfortable bed. It is a hypoalergenic, organic, Natura mattress (you need to try it to appreciate it)
5. Expertise on the city to help make your experience memorable- we have over 30 cumulative years in San Francisco and very diverse interests. We're here to help!
6. Assistance if you want it and peace and quiet if you don't.
7. Very flexible check in and check out

We are within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and diverse nightlife . Check out our guidebook for things to do in the neighborhood. We've tried to provide a varied list of the best our neighborhood has to offer.

You will have a private bedroom (full sized bed) with shared bath. If you want to "cook in" we have markets a few blocks away with everything you'll need. If you are 3 people, we have a trundle bed which pulls out to accommodate a child or extra person. If you are 3 adults it is a little tight, but we have had many groups of 3 who have reported it was perfect. Please note that 3 is the maximum number of people the room can accommodate including children.

Coffee and tea are available in the morning. The house has WiFi and a 42" LCD TV which you are welcome to use.

We look forward to making your trip to San Francisco a memorable one!

  • Three of us stayed with Michael and Yesica and all of us think they made our stay in San Francisco all the better. Their home is beautiful, comfortable and in a great area. Both made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to take us to hidden parts of SF we wouldnt have been able to see otherwise. I cant think of a better way to spend a week in SF!

  • Michael and Yesica were super friendly, really helpful and gave great advice on what to do including tips on how to get the most out of the 7 hrs that I was there for. I managed to get round on the cable cart, pier 39 and rent a bike a ride down to the bridge. The app is love and I booked it because I like the way they had done it up. The bed was super comfy I had a great nights sleep and felt well looked after. Would recommend. Thank you both and for your suggestions on what to do in Hawaii also :-D GGx

  • Michael and Yesica were very good hosts. We stayed with them for a week and had a great time. They were very helpful and told us about some San Francisco sights we definitely had to see.
Their place is very nice, clean, and located in a neighborhood I would recommend to at least visit if you're planning on staying in San Francisco.

  • So this might be one of the nicest apartments in San Fran that we looked at. The building is new as of 4-5 years ago and very clean and comfortable. Yesica was very helpful in recommending modes of transportation and things to see during our one day visit there. The beds were comfortable and shower relaxing. Having underground parking was also helpful for us to avoid the street parking. We would highly recommend staying there if you're looking. We would love to go back and stay for longer next time.

  • Michael and Jessica were excellent hosts. They have an absolutely lovely home in the mission, big enough to accommodate themselves and their guests very comfortably. The location is terrific. They were present, available and engaging people to be with. Their home is excellent for families if you can manage to book both of the rooms. I thoroughly recommend a visit with Michael and Jessica in the Mission.

  • Great stay! The only downfall was having to leave too soon. The hosts were unbelievably welcome and Yesica provided a ton of recommendations and great conversation. Home was very clean and spacious. Would definitely return and love to stay in contact with hosts. Thank you for a lovely experience and making my friend and I feel at home .

About
We've lived in San Francisco for 25 years and look forward to sharing our knowledge of our favorite city with you! We've travelled to over 40 countries and look forward to returning the hospitality that has been shown to us over the years around the world. We love hiking, biking, travel, and cooking. Yesica is originally from Venezuela and I am a Bostonian but San Francisco is where we both stopped on life's journey. Yesica is a licensed massage therapist (ask about a massage!) and I am in sales to high tech industries.
