Beautiful room on the ground floor with a double bed or 2 singles including a small sitting area.
Ensuite shower decorated in natural tones and traditional tadelakt walls (space to accommodate a small child also).
The H2O is a spacious room in our traditional riad, located in the Medina or old quarter of Marrakech.
The room is on the ground floor giving onto the central patio or open courtyard in the centre of the house, with a fountain and some oriental plants.
There are 5 other bedrooms in the riad, as well as a private 2 bedroom appartment next door.
Our guests love relaxing on the roof terrace, on a sun lounger or in the shade of one of the traditional tents up there.
The jacuzzi pool takes a few hours to heat up so remember to ask Moad, our Manager or Hassan our night attendant to turn it on for you..it's a lovely way to unwind after a day of visiting the city or excursion.
You might like to try a traditional body scrub in the hammam (like a "dry" steam room!) and a massage.
Breakfast is served when you are ready, where you wish, on the rooftop terrace,on the central patio... Rachida, our cook also prepares delicious dinners on reservation to give you a taste of authentic Moroccan cuisine.
Our driver is available to pick you up at the airport.
All our rooms have private bathrooms in traditional tadelakt (type of plaster work on the walls and floors), heating, air-conditioning, and free wi-fi.
The H2O room has traditional Moroccan materials such as bejmat on the floor and tadelakt on the wall.
There is a colorful sitting area, with cushions and a thick rug. The bed can be made into a double or 2 single beds. The en-suite bathroom has a shower.
The guests have access to the roof top terrace, the central patio, the jacuzzi and the hammam.
Interaction with Guests
Marie and Hugues, the owners of the riad leave it in the very capable hands of Moad, the general manager when they are not present. He is available to reserve excursions, beauty treatments and is a mine of information for visitors to Marrakech!!
Our riad is located in a pedestrian street in a quiet area, only a 5 min walk to shops, traditional workshops and restaurants, 10 minutes from the souks, and a 15 min walk to the famous Djemaa El Fna square.
There is a taxi rank very close to the riad..about a 5 minute walk.
Other Things to Note
There is a local tourism tax of 8Dh and a tourist promotion tax of 15Dh payable per guest per night at the property for all guests over the age of 12. This 23Dh charge per night per person is about €2.30
We would like to remind you that Morocco is a Muslim country, therefore as a mark of respect for its inhabitants it is highly recommended to avoid short dresses and shorts, as well as bare belly, low-cut tops, or anything too revealing (especially in the old city).
Also it is very inappropriate to eat or smoke in the street in the daytime during Ramadan
As Morocco is a Muslim country there are certain rules we have to strictly adhere to and apply.
No unmarried Moroccan women co-habiting or present in riad as unregistered guests.
The same applies to Moroccan men who are not registered guests in the riad.
From Dec 18, 2015 - Jan 04, 2016 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
