About This Listing

My house is in a quiet cul-de-sac and is within easy reach of the centre of Dublin and the coastline. Also, for the weary traveller, it's only 20 minutes by bus from Dublin airport. So drop by! :)

  • Dollymount

Dollymount is a great beach just outside Dublin city and is easily accessible on the #104 bus which passes close by my house. Cross the old wooden-bridge to get to the beach.

  • Epicurean Food Hall

Theres several buffet-style cafes here and you can really eat your fill for as little as €7. My favourites are the Greek and the Asian fusion.

  • Temple Bar

To be honest I dont recommend Temple Bar as its the best definition of a tourist trap that I can think of. The beer is overpriced and apart from the pubs there isnt a lot to do or see there.
    Dublin County Dublin
  • Dublin Tourism Information Centre

This is THE place to go to find out about pretty much everything in Dublin/Ireland thats worth knowing about.
    Suffolk Street Dublin 2
  • Irish Museum of Modern Art

Its very good and its free. There are also nice gardens there and its on the Luas (tram) stop.

  • Howth

Theres lots to see and do in Howth - checkout the fishing boats, seals, harbour, cliff-walks, bars, restaurants then get the DART (train) back into the city-centre.
