*UPDATES*

The studio apartment is situated in the historical center of Berlin and less than 1-2 minutes walk from S-Bahn Nordbahnhof. In one or two s-bahn stops, you are at all the tourist spots you need to go! It is also reachable by foot! It is directly in Berlin's most popular quarter with an innumerable ammount of cafes, bar, restaurants and shops, pharmacy, bank, coffee-shops etc. especially when you walk towards the Naturkundemuseum U bahn station. Excellent connections to the public transport system!

You can walk to several attractions, for example Kollwitzplatz and the water tower, Bötzowviertel or even Alexanderplatz and its TV tower, the Berlin Cathedral, Karl Marx and Engel memorial and further more (if you like to walk).
Only 10-15 min by foot from Hackescher Markt and the Museumsinsel.

The apartment is spacious (42m^2) and with everything you need for everyday life as (W-Lan, dishes, towels, blankets and pillows, washing machine, etc., etc.)

Best of all, there is both a bathtub and a separate shower in a big bathroom!
Feel free to use the kitchen too! It comes with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, grill, water boiler, whatever you need to cook!

(Main bedroom includes a really steady big double bed. There is also an extra single mattress. An extra inflatable double mattress or a single inflatable mattress can be added)

Museumsinsel (10-15 min by foot): Pergamonmuseum, Bodemuseum, Altes Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Berlin Cathedral

Unter den Linden (10-15 min by foot): Brandenburger Tor, Guggenheim Museum, Staatsoper, Komische Oper, historical town centre.

Hackescher Markt/Oranienburgerstraße (10-15 min by foot):
Already one of Berlins main attractions with an innumerable amount of bars, restaurants, shops and theatres.

Mauermuseum (5-8 min by foot): Museum and memorial site with the only completely authentically preserved parts of the wall.

Auguststraße (5-8 min by foot): The famous “Scheunenviertel” quarter, known for its large number of galleries, bar and restaurants.

Kastanienallee/Prenzlauer Berg (5-10 min by foot): One of Berlins most trendy streets with lots of Cafés, bars, shops and the wonderfully relaxed Weinsbergsweg-Park.

Reichstag /government district (10-15 min by foot): The “center of power” of Germany with the Reichstag”and the office of the Federal Chancellor, as well as the congress hall, the new Central Station and of course the Tiergarten and the new Spreebogen-Park along the river.

Potsdamer Platz (10-12 min with the metro): The “Mini-Manhattan” of Berlin with excellent shopping and entertainment facilities and the Kulturforum with the Philharmonic Concert Hall and the Neue Nationalgalerie.

Alexanderplatz (10-12 min with the metro): The old heart of East-Berlin with the most emblematic building of the city, the TV tower (with an impressive turning restaurant and very good shopping facilities.

Mauer Park is also just nearby! (top flea market and festivities on the weekenda!) 3 Tram stops away! Tram M10 runs just in front of S bahn Nordbanhof, which is the main road once you exit the apartment and walk across the small "park".

Due to the windy and cold weather which is often in Berlin, I recommend the use of S bahn for your travels. Bicycle rentals are also available nearby BUT i think it is cheaper if you rent it near Friedrichstrasse or Hauptbahnhof. There is a DB bicycle rental nearby round the corner as well.

distance public transportation:
North Station (Nordbahnhof (1-2 min by foot)
Oranienburgerstrasse (1.5min by S bahn)
Oranienburg Tor (3min by S bahn)
Friedrichstrasse (4-5min ny S bahn)
Central Station (8-10min by S bahn)

Cat and Dogs are welcomed with a small extra charge and when they dont chew off anything in the apartment!

From Tegel Airport:
Take TXL to Brandenburger Tor and then S1, S2 or S25 to Nordbahnhof.

From Schonefeld Airport
RE7 (Airport-Express) or RB14 and go to Friedrichstraße S bahn station (20mins) and then change to the S bahn S1, S2 or S25 (2stops) to Nordbahnhof. (total about 30mins)
Alternatively:
S9 to Bornholmer and then S1, S2 or S25 to Nordbahnhof. (more than an hours in total)

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof:
Take S5, S7 or S75 for 1 stop to Friedrichstrasse. Then change to S1, S2 or S25 for 2 stops to Nordbahnhof.

The check-out time is usually by 11am unless I do not have other guests after that. If I do have guests after that, you can leave your luggage outside the apartment door. The main doors to the apartment are still lock so it is still relatively safe to do so, or you can put it in the cellar. You can keep the key until you come back collect your luggage.

The check-in time shall be confirmed after finding a matching time for both of us. A one-hour waiting time frame will be given upon our agreed time. If there are guests the night before, check-in time is definitely after noon unless the guests before you leaves earlier. (We need time to clean up before you arrive as well)

  • The apartment is clean, well mantained and very quiet. The bed is also comfortable. The apartment is located very close to the S-Nordbahnhof.

There are not much places to visit or eat around the area but it was very convenient for my main purpose to Berlin, getting to Berlin Marathon start line.

  • We had a great stay at Audrey's place. It was very bright and clean apartment with everything we needed. Even though we didn't meet her, Everything was clear on the house manual. We would stay there again.

  • Audrey's apartment is very clean and spacious, and it also offers all the amenities a traveler desires, like wifi, laundry and a full kitchen. There is a small balcony that offers an excellent view of the building's courtyard. Communicating with Audrey was easy and she is very accommodating.

  • flat is close to metro station (5 min walk); 10-15 min walk to many cafe/restaurants; easy to find; safe and quite neighborhood with no tourist; 2 train stops from all the major sites; clean flat, best for no more than 3 people max; only complaint is that it said breakfast was included: we did know what to expect, but there was no breakfast provided unless you eat corn flakes and tea; this should not be advertised as breakfast in our opinion; beside that, everything about the place was great. we recommend this place to couples, singles and groups of 3 traveling.
