Laura is a great host.
Her communication could not have been more friendly and helpful and she and her partner were there to greet us and show us around.
The apartment was clean, well appointed and ideally situated for all the sights of central Paris and the local area had many convenient food shops, restaurants and bistros.
Thanks for a great taste of Paris Laura!
We loved our stay in Paris at Laura's apartment! First of all, the location is great, in a very nice neighborhood (7th arrondissement), and at walking distance from rue Cler (ideal for food shopping) and many other nice places. Even though there are many little buildings around, everything was very peaceful and calm, no noise from neighbors at all! There is a lift, which is very practical with luggage and baby stroller (our case!). We found everything we needed in the apartment for us adults and our little baby. The interior was very pleasant, with enough space for all 7 of us (4 adults, 2 children and 1 baby). The place is very clair, with lots of sunlight coming through the windows. All in all, we were very happy to have rented this apartment and recommend it for anyone coming to Paris looking for a nice place to stay. Forgot to mention that besides being at walking distance to many places, one can easily walk to a metro station or bus stop. Check in and check out were easily done directly with Laura herself. Hope to come back next year to Laura's apartment!
Laura's rental completely exceeded our expectations! We've never had hosts as attentive and thoughtful as she and her husband were. To begin she offered to get any basic supplies we needed for our baby before we arrived to make our check in a breeze. Laura tracked down almond milk for my son and had it in the fridge on arrival which was great because the last thing I wanted to do after 15 hours of traveling with a toddler was run to the store for milk. I felt that my son had everything he could possible need and more at their rental because Laura is a mother as well. I highly suggest this apartment for parents traveling with children because you can leave everything at home since they have, a crib, changing table, high chair, and even some toys. Even though their place is great for children it is also fabulous for adults. On arrival our fridge was stocked with some basic essentials including Laura's favorite cheese from her local fromagerie. She also had fresh baguette and a lovely bottle of red wine on the dining room table. Nothing is better then coming in to cheese, wine, and bread after hours of traveling! On top of the wonderful hospitality the apartment is perfectly located a block from the seine to the right, a 5 minute walk to rue cler, 10 minute walk to the Eiffel tour, 10 minute walk to the metro, and most importantly only blocks from some of the most amazing restaurants in Paris . (L'ami jean is a 2 minute walk and the best meal we had on our 15 day European vacation). When you're done eating and sightseeing a large spacious 2 story apartment awaits you with VERY comfortable beds. Their rental cannot be beat, it has location, a great price, and so much more. My father and mother in law go to Paris at least once a year and have already decided they will never stay anywhere else again. Laura's apartment is wonderful and I cannot stress how amazing they were as hosts we cannot wait to return :)
The apartment was perfect, perfect location close to bus stop and metro stop Invalides, perfect spaces big enough for the 5 of us.The tour Eiffel was only 5 minutes walking and it was wonderful at night with all the lights on! We hired a car and there was free parking all over the apartment. The host waited us till late night it was after midnight and let us stay till 3 pm, they are perfect hosts so I can only say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!The only thing wrong was that there was only 1 toilet to use instead of 2 because the second one was broken so in 5 person it was not so easy to manage when coming back home after a long long day walking into the city…Another thing was that the sheets were not so clean anyway we are very accomodating so it was not a real problem. I’m sure the toilet is not always broken so I can say everything was perfect!Hope I can go again to visit Paris and come back to the apartment!!!!
the apartment was beautiful and Laura and her husband couldn't have been more accommodating. When we arrived they had gone through the trouble of preparing breakfast for us, and were incredibly warm and welcoming. The apartment is in an INCREDIBLE area, and you should not hesitate to book it for your trip!
About the Host, Laura
