A nice and cozy place in the center of east village, the apartment is clean and tidy, jack stacked up the frige for us with beers bread and other great things, the apartment is really close by to the metro and to a lot of nice restaurants and bars.
Jack himself was very helpful and reply fast to any questions we had.
We had a perfect stay in this little apartment. Absolutely everything you need and so so clean. The use of the iPhone is an absolute God send! We found the apartment to be very quiet even though it is in the middle of all the action in the east village. Perfect location and so easy to get anywhere. We would definitely recommend staying here to any of our friends. Jack is a very thoughtful host, leaving us a full fridge and always quick to respond!
Great place! Perfect location. Very clean and cosy.
This small apartment is in the heart of East Village just above one of Jacks shop (with amazing ravioli and homemade mozzarella!). You weak up to the smell of fresh baked bread.
All you need in walking distance.
Jack was a great host, we could always get in touch with him if necessary.
The place is highly commendable!
This place was a great little find in the East Village. It was my first trip to NYC so it was fantastic to have such a great location. All the public transit you need is right out the door, plus tons of restaurant and bar options. Brooklyn/Williamsburg is just a short train ride - 1 stop away. The apartment itself was actually pretty decently sized for the two of us and pretty comfy. The street was a bit noisy, but that kind of goes with the territory of being on the first floor in a NYC apartment.
Jack was extremely responsive to any texts or questions, and actually gave some good hints on how to get deals in the city. We were also left some breakfast items and soft drinks which was also really great and helpful the first morning when we were rushing to get out the door. Definitely recommend!
Why stay in a hotel when you can live like a local? Jack's apartment is very well located, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in NYC. From a hair dryer and a stocked fridge, to a phone you can use during your entire stay. We had the pleasure of meeting Jack, who is the nicest guy and a perfect host.
Our host had a delicious mozzarella ball for us when we picked the keys up, which we really appreciated! The studio apartment, while small, was comfortable and more than adequate for my 19 year old son and me, and in a great location. We loved being able to stop in at Russo's and pick up prosciutto, olives and a fresh baguette to go with the mozzarella. It was nice being in a neighborhood with coffee shops, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's and the subway a short walk away. We were easily able to get around the city by subway. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this listing to friends, and hope that I have the opportunity to stay there again.
The place was great - nicer than I expected. Jack had even stocked the fridge with drinks - just very simple homey touches that made it so comfortable. I would absolutely recommend the place to anyone staying in the city - especially long term. It's a great location and really roomy studio. I can't say enough good things.

I am a lifelong New Yorker . Have one child and one wife, lol. Can advise any guests on pretty much anything they need while in New York. jack of all trades sort of. One of the easiest people on earth to deal with. Hope I get to prove that to all my guests.
