Not really. Most people rent a car for day trips, and just walk around town, since we are located so close to the Plaza.
The Chavez House was very nice and quaint. It was in a great location within walking distance of the Plaza. It was a little hard to find since it's behind a group of houses, but there is parking in front of the home making it worth it.
The Chavez House is located very conveniently to the plaza and downtown areas, no car needed unless you plan to tour outside of the downtown area. The home had everything we needed for three people for a long weekend stay. Our host communicated in a timely manner from start to finish and offered good directions and instructions for the house. We would recommend the Chavez House to anyone visiting Santa Fe.
Heidi's house is absolutely charming! Perfect size, great space and sooo convenient to downtown Santa Fe. My friends and I enjoyed being in a home atmosphere and even took advantage of the lovely desert garden patio for morning coffee. Would definitely recommend the house and/or come back and rent from Heidi.
